I wonder how he thinks he could be earning over $20k a month when very few indies are running. My bet is it's likely connected to one of the larger promotions (ie ROH / AEW / Impact) bringing him in to work had he not had these accusations against him. Not defending him by any means, just stating the scenario he'll likely be pushing in his suit.

I mean, I hope the f***er loses or at the least gets the case thrown out but yeah, thatās his ālogicā, I guess.

Man dude just went full Vic Mignonga And he doesn't have a character beloved as Ed Elric for a handful of fans to remain attached to him.

I feel like a collapse in ProWrestlingTees sales was probably the biggest hit for him (given the COVID limitations on him working).

Does this numbskull want to never work again or something? This is going to nothing for the whole ānot getting blackballedā thing.
Honestly, as well as being a sexual predator heās clearly an absolute moron if he thinks that this is the way to go. Not only is this going to get thrown out, but itās pretty much the opposite of what he should do, which is keep his head down and work on genuinely redeeming himself, if indeed thatās possible.

He's not wrong. Even if Joey Ryan is a scumbag, he deserves a judge to throw this out in a courtroom.

But this is a civil suit filed BY HIM where he is the one on the offensive and putting the alleged victims on the defensive and seeking money from them. They may very well countersue him for sexual assault (if thatās what the three individuals accused him of, I havenāt read the documents yet). Also by suing 3 individuals, is he admitting by omission that the all of the other accusers were telling the truth?

Not defending him by any means, just stating the scenario he'll likely be pushing in his suit. That would mean Ryan would be making $240,000 per year. I canāt see Impact shelling out that much for him. Maybe one of the other companies mentioned. With how much Ryan worked on other indies, sought other revenue streams, and promoted himself he could conceivably get to that number if combined with what Impact was paying him. But then as has been mentioned COVID-19 would have thrown a wrench in that anyway.

Yeah... that only works if he was being taken to court by the accusers... not Joey trying to sue them.

The lawsuit breaks it down like this: Lost revenues from Bar Wrestling in the amount of $1,500.00 per month from distribution and streaming services and $2,000.00 per event with two events per month; Lost revenues from merchandising in the amount of $1,000.00 per month; Lost revenues in his Patreon account in the amount of $3,000.00 per month; Lost revenues in his Cameo account in the amount of $500.00 per month; Lost revenues from Twitch account in the amount of $1,000.00 per month plus subscription shares and tips from subscribers; Lost revenues from Wrestling Performance Bookings of $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 per month.

Also by suing 3 individuals, is he admitting by omission that the all of the other accusers were telling the truth? The irony is that in the hour long video, he basically admitted to sexual assault but with a bunch of āthey were asking for it and werenāt good peopleā thrown in.

I hope Joey Ryan's lawyer is as incompetent as Vic Mignogna's and Matt Riddle's.
