So as it stands right now, I'm still trying to find a backup judge since Zack Morris hasn't returned a score yet. I've contacted a couple of people to see if they want to step in, but if I hear nothing back from them or ZM by the end of NXT tomorrow night, I'll be stepping in to judge so we can get this moving.

After way too long and my reminding myself that I should not host again, it's time for RD16: WHO'S IN? For the sake of getting this written quickly, I'm just going to go by artist(s) used in the writeup. And yes, the Banned List for this season is going to get updated today.

Unlike most rounds, I'll be going by team. Two people from Tyger's team will lock a spot to the Head-To-Heads, as will the top two members of Team fw91 (He's the new co-head/full head of ZM's team). Only the top finisher for DASH's team will advance automatically. So DASH's team will go first.

Cthulhu went with +2 Shawn James, Futureraven took +5 Vince Clarke, and RadG took punk drummer Palmolive. RadG was already way ahead, but could either of the two remaining members pull off a miracle?

{Spoiler}No. Despite tying for 6th at 9 points, RadG's total 222 points puts Cthulhu (181) in the Sing-off alongside 3rd place-tying, 12 point gaining Futureraven (194). Good luck to you two.

Up next is Tyger's team. Joker went with +2 metal legend King Diamond, Jazzman went with +5 Amanda Shires, Clash went with Jack White, and Brad chose an outright legend in Eric Clapton. Joker was already well ahead on his team, and his also being tied for 6th locks him into the Head-To-Heads at 216 points. The remaining three were close enough together that safety could be just a point or two away. Who else has locked a spot?

{Spoiler}Brad! Tying for 9th with 8 points gets him a grand total of 183 points, putting him ahead of Jazzman (T3, 12 points) and Clash (2, 14 points) by THREE POINTS!

Clash and Jazzman, it was that close but it's Sing-off time. Good luck.

And on to fw91's team. Roxie went with the late, great +5 Chris Cornell, suave chose +2 Theo Hilton, DubH went with the legendary Ritchie Blackmore, and J took most of Joy Division. Roxie has positively SURGED ahead in these rounds and tops this round's score with 17 points. She's locked in her spot with 244 points, but which of the other three will join her in safety?

Would love to have both of you make it to the next stage of the game but it's not to be. Two the best players here, imo, with musical tastes that challenge what you can do in FAN Idol/Voice.

I have Joker and Brad already in and they have both been killing it, especially in the last few rounds.

Whomever wins between Clash and Jazzman will definitely deserve it and I think will have a damn good shot at taking the title.

Well, this is an odd coincidence. On the previous (not the video game one) FAN Idol, I was up for elimination and the one I had to face was Futureraven as well.
