Are we sure neither of Kayla's positives are false positives? I've heard nothing about re-infection over here. You'd think hospital workers who are constantly at-risk would be sounding the alarm if there were cases of re-infection to the media and also other hospitals, mainly because their workers would likely be the first people to be re-infected. Then again, I guess if she got it in early March, she was probably one of the earliest people to get it here and being in a hotspot she could easily be exposed to it again. It's likely Kayla's second test is a false-positive, just like the ones they had in South Korea, a few months back : PCR tests detect viral genetic material in the patient's body, but doesn't distinguish between live viral material and dead viral cells ; and since dead, inactive viral material can stay in the lungs for weeks/months after contamination...

yeah time for all companies to close shop. They're in a state that isn't closing for anything so I wouldn't expect it. That's sort of a key here. Florida had an opportunity to get itself a backbone and shut down everything properly until the virus cases can go down but considering they decided not only to call pro wrestling and other sports "essential workers", but to also open up everything too quickly to the point where it's competing with LA for "Hottest Covid Hotspot", that's pretty much not going to happen now. So absolutely, WWE is to blame, networks are to blame and the state is absolutely most to blame for lack of leadership. It goes higher than that but because of how state law works, the buck mostly stops with them.

America is unable to handle anything serious for more than 5 minutes before the idiots lose their minds. So here we are with spiking numbers and a good number of the population acting like it isn't a big deal.

At the risk of offending our new overlords, America is a country filled with people told to not trust anything they're told and are cynical beasts at best. Whenever something drastic is considered, there's always massive pushback, and we're seeing the consequences of the pushback. I don't think most of the people who suggested we hunker in our homes and apartments for weeks liked the idea to begin with, but considering now that the results of our inaction have yielded more cases and the risk of yet another shutdown, we're screwed.

Those people think we can not shutdown again for anything...

I mean, you just can't get it more than once unless you're a complete genetic anomaly or hit with a false positive There is no way of knowing that at this point but the signs are pointing to this being something you can get more than once.

I don’t have a problem with having sporting events. People do rely on those (and wrestling) to earn a living.
Problem is that WWE did not protect their workers enough and were quite cavalier about their approach to this.
They allowed families in, had talent on beaches without protection. Contrast that with the NBA where the players are confined to their “island” and absolutely no one except essential personnel allowed on site.
Have to take every precaution, WWE has not

WWE had a conference call with Sports Hiatus with WWE EVP of Global Head Sales and Partnership, John Brody and their response to all this was basically “If you could hand us a shovel, we’re going to dig ourselves further down”.

Please think about this. Covid-19 has been going on since November in some parts of the world. If re-infection was a legitimate risk it would already be happening on a large scale. Does that mean immunity is permanent? Of course not, this is a coronavirus. By the way, antibodies are supposed to decline. Immunity is conferred by your body remembering how to make them. Am I saying Kayla Braxton couldn't have it twice? No, there are incredibly rare genetic disorders that prevent your immune system from generating antibodies in the first place, but a false positive is infinitely more likely.

I mean, you just can't get it more than once unless you're a complete genetic anomaly or hit with a false positive Honestly not enough is truly known about the virus to make any real comments, you may be able to get it more than once. All studies so far indicate that you dont.If someone doesnt wanna risk it is more than fair, not saying it is impossible. Japan and South Korea were big on studying cases of contracting more than once and it seems it was always a case of dead cells or false positives. People can claim they had more than once, but more likely they just think they had more than once

Since our testing has been so pathetic we have no idea who might have had it or who might be getting it for the second time and just now showing symptoms.

Every time Vince says “for the fans” he means “for my pockets”.

They do but most of them did a far better job testing and containing the virus initially. Also their populations are following the social distancing protocols.
