I do t get why they don’t just run some of their hottest shows. Could cover each show. Wouldn’t be hard. Could run old Raws. Old nitros. Old ECWs. He’ll people would probably be all about it. And give they guys a break. I think because their contract says they need to have a certain number of "new" shows each year. Could be wrong. But wouldn't NBA's TV contracts also say that they should have X amount of matches per season? Or Walking Dead having to produce X amount of episodes? I don't see the networks demanding them to keep producing content.

At least they’re actually testing now instead of just temp checks.

Even if they had to have new content, why didn't they tape a huge block of stuff over a course of a couple of weeks and have it all in the can ready to go and send folks home?

It don't take much to have wrestlers watch their old matches and break down what happens in them. I know most fans would love that. Just imagine New Day and the Usos on a Zoom call watching their old matches and them just talking about how it was and how it felt. Just some real backstage shit. That would be dope.

Kind of like the way they were doing it before WrestleMania.

Numbers don't really matter when you've got a global virus on the loose. At the end of the day the performers' safety is most important.

Cool but who gives a shit if it doesn't get as high ratings? Nobody would get sick from it and we wouldn't be in this crisis zone right now over the company's reckless mix of incompetence and maliciousness. People are still tuning in to Raw right now, if someone is willing to watch wrestling I think they'd still be willing to watch wrestling even if it's not super hot and fresh off the presses. The point is that WWE can provide alternate content in ways that msot other eople not on the air straight-up can't, but they just chugged along on producing shows instead and now people have gotten sick over it.

I don't for a moment have any sympathy or patience for the poor, put-upon billionaire and his wrestling company that have 500 million saved up. They don't need to run shows right now, they don't need to keep going and fulfill the fullest commitments of their contract on no compromise. They don't need to maintain all their ratings to the fullest extent they can. Peoples' lives are in jeopardy and it doesn't matter what a publicly traded business is supposed to do or how their year-end report is going to look or how much a bunch of super f***ing rich people don't want to take steeper pay cuts to offset the problems. People are dying worldwide and professional wrestling is literally the stupidest thing to keep open and keep endangering people for. I've loved pro wrestling my whole life but no this is dumb.

Hope that Renee recovers soon and all the more that Mox manages to avoid getting it. Given his history if he got it that could end up really, really badly.

Which means Moxley may have it too. Just shut the whole industry down for a while. It’s not worth it.
