Impact gave her a big chance and she blew it. Not coming to tapings because of the virus I can understand, but doing no promos just seemed weird. I get the feeling she wasn't planning on coming to Slammiversary either. I get that feeling too. They fired her before she didn't show.

It’s so very on point for her biggest break to end like this. Lordy, girl...

Saw someone note on Twitter that Tessa last year at a major indie event was set to lose to a bigger name, and then the DAY OF THE SHOW changed her mind and made a big fuss about it, after agreeing to it from the get go by the way this wasn't sprung on her, and got pulled from the match. The talent was reportedly Nick Gage.
That kind of shit is something she is gonna have to get over or she will get passed on by. You're 24, stop acting like you're a seasoned veteran with HHH pull...

Yeah but given her past problematic persona this should be the icing on the cake. If you’re fired while top champion that pretty much cements that’s you’re a problem. Honestly maybe AEW would be the right fit. Maybe Tully can help he get her shit together. We know she talented but yes a problem. Don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby!

Honestly, that makes me wonder what would have happened in this pandemic didn't occur. If she was still champion going into Slammiversary, her contract was still going to be up before the show. Does she refuse to show up in order to get out of dropping the title?

Before we completely jump her case, perhaps it had something to do with not wanting to deal with the creeps that were running around there, including one of her scheduled opponents?

PWInsider is reliable, but it's also official now impactwrestling.com/statement-from-impact-wrestling-2/Elgin suspended and Tessa leaving is quite the talent absence for Impact (Ryan should without the slightest doubt have never been even hired and hopefully will be in court, not counting him in). Impact could now do just a triple way, but Ace Austin vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Trey is not exactly a hot main event. Good thing they have the Knockouts division, I hope Tenille will soon be back too.

I'm a huge Tessa fan. I think she pretty much has it all; the look, good on the mic, the talent in ring and the believability factor. Even though she is small I could believe her in her intergender matches. The world is her oyster but only if she gets her head on straight and stops F*&$#^& up. She's young but that's no excuse for her actions even more so with her coming from a wrestling family and knowing the ins and outs of the game an dhow it's played. Impact stuck bu her at the low point. we know this pandemic has thrown everything upside down and people and organizations are willing to give a lot of leeway but when you can't even do the basic of what is asked from the people who stuckup and stood by you when it mattered the most is childish, immature and disrespectful.
People can and will forgive a lot. What happened with the racial slur and bullying. Instances when you first started were you acted like a brat and had attitude issues. However continued crap like this as you get older and screwing around management are things people remember.

As CMM said, they dealt with that for one. For the other, there’s years and years and YEARS of this stuff happening when you reach the point where “There’s no smoke without fire” is Tessa’s tag line. If anything, Anthem did everything to accommodate for her, probably WAY too much.

If only impact could have seen this coming but I do credit to impact for trying but Tessa has all the intangibles you’d want and need to be a huge star and she seems to hurt herself most of the time. She’s a female randy Orton imo and randy grew up so hopefully Tessa does.

She probably thinks she's WWE bound.
Thinks.

She probably thinks she's WWE bound. Thinks. Well she could have been in WWE years ago and they balked at signing her and I doubt the years since will have helped.

She probably thinks she's WWE bound. Thinks. At some point she will, they all always do However, I don't expect her to last very long. Like Low Ki and Aries who went before her, they had the talent to last long but they are a ticking time bomb. She will be the same Can't see her lasting on a leash especially if someone like HHH plans to humble her

I'm not saying she shouldn't have gotten the opportunities she did in Impact, and the chance to prove herself, but Impact should not have put the belt on her amid the racism controversy. Her behaviour, and attitude now solidifies that.

Her behaviour, and attitude now solidifies that. Honestly, that's the only thing I give Impact a bit of leeway on. They had no choice after the build and the fact it happened that weekend didn't help. I'm not saying I would have done it myself but on the other side, it was the same night when the other viable candidate, Brian Cage, had his last night in the company and they weren't exactly going to keep it on Sami. Like, I would have found a way for her to lose it as soon as because then the "feel good" story would have been kept and I sure as F*** wouldn't have her address it to anyone in any way after the match.

Yea, I kind of don't blame them since the story sprung up on them right at the last second they were putting the title on her so they kept on What they should have let her do was cut that promo after the match because it came across like a bad decision on their part since she was basically saying f*** all the haters
