Pulling my post from the Raw thread because I need to proclaim how much I'm enjoying Lashley and MVP right now. Heyman and Brock: -Heyman cuts one promo while Brock stares mostly blank faced hopping around if he decides to show up -Brock has like 3 moves total now -Heyman is a nonwrestler -Wrestles like 3.6 matches per year MVP and Lashley: -Lashley shows active listening during MVP's promos and is supportive of MVP's managerial skills -Are a team and kick people's asses together -MVP still wrestles -Lashley's on fire in ring and wrestles pretty much every week -Lashley had a character where he showed his ass a lot -Masterlock > kimura lock

The big difference for me is Heyman made you want to see Brock get his arse kicked. MVP is so damn entertaining that I want to see Lashley win.

I felt this way back when they were in The Beat Down Clan in TNA. When Lashley is booked fairly well and has a manager (or player/coach) to play off of he's quite good. Especially in TNA he was like if you had a Lesnar character with an MMA background but he didn't, you know, suck.

I'm actually surprised they went ahead with this pairing, given it's not a WWE creation. But I'm glad they did.

Easily better.
Heyman cuts the same promo every week while Brock does the absolute bare minimum.
MVP and Big Bobby are killing it right now. They should go to Smackdown and beat Strowman IMO.

The match that Lashley had on RAW with Ricochet was nuts. It's honestly how Ricochet's match with Lesnar should have gone. Ricochet bumps like a boss for Lashley so he looks like a damn beast, but still gets a little something that visibly damages the man (accidental as it may have been, Lashley being covered in blood like that from his ear is a hell of a visual).

WWE actually paired them up together? I thought MVP was only a short term thing, but being the hype-man/partner of Lashley is an excellent usage of his talents. I never had an issue with Lashley's in ring work outside of the fact that he wasn't particularly engaging. Give him a good mouthpiece to work off of, similar to the great heel managers of the past, and he should be golden. It sounds as though some of you feel that is the case since he has been paired with such a partner.
