So, this may have been one of the best squash matches I've ever seen. And I wish the second GIF continued where the one dude keeps booting Butcher in the face, and he just no sells them and keeps the Cloverleaf on, and then Powerbombs the other dude without releasing the Cloverleaf.
Either way, I can't believe that the guitarist from Every Time I Die and the bland Braxton Sutter guy from TNA have somehow formed this awesome bruiser team.

Blade needs a new haircut, the balding blonde look makes him look like the fourth Holly.
The Butcher is fantastic in every way. With some heavier guys, they just look out of shape, like an angry dad while he really does look like that guy who's going to murder you outside of a biker bar. I don't think he'd be anything like as menacing if he were ripped.
One thing though, what's with the white street clothes? Kinda makes them look like extras in a 1950s musical about sailors.

In a tag division as great as AEW'S, it is hard to pick a favorite, but Butcher and the Blade are easily one of my favorites.

They've grown on me super fast. They had a very meh debut in the company but with ther most recent set of matches, they've really just looked amazing. Butcher is a god damn star as well. I loved that Cloverleaf innovation, even more when Low Rida was kicking him and he wasn't even budging with it, lol
Also their theme is amazing

I'd never be brave enough to give The Butcher fashion advice. But I never thought that I'd be impressed by Braxton Sutter of all people, but he and Williams are a fantastic tag team.

The Butcher has a very "Stan Hansen" build. Compare that with, say, Brian Cage. One looks like a gym rat that measures out his protein on scales and hates missing leg day. The other looks like he's going to rip your head off and keep it as a mantle decoration after he finishes his beer. They're both big, strong dudes that are going to do whatever they want with you, but in terms of look and presentation, the Butcher is way more intimidating.

It's weird because, in a business like wrestling, I find that The Butcher has a cooler look because it looks like he's never stepped into a gym in his life, because he just beats up entire bars full of people on his own and that'd be his work-out.

Also, I just realised that The Blade has blonde hair, I've just assumed that he was bald.

Love them. Their chemistry is great and Butcher is an amazing throwback to the wrestling I watched as a kid. If AEW had built them up with a few weeks of vignettes rather than the confusing surprise debut, they might well be at the top of the tag team scene right now.
