I could legit listen to people like Alexa, Otis and Baron talk about horror movies all day, the person hosting Dead Meat seems super chill, too, the fact that he's a wrestling fan means that it doesn't come off as he barely knows anything about the wrestlers that he's talking to.
Also, Alexa got super insightful during the Shining, I could easily see her taking a page out of the New Day's book and doing a podcast, maybe about horror?

Mmmm love me some Midsommar and Hereditary, those are both good picks on Alexa's part. There's no better double feature than a "Midsommar"/"Hereditary" double feature, the light and dark of horror... I do without "The Shining" though, as it's just one of those films that I've just never been able to get into. With that said, my horror sensibilities skew toward horror comedies like "Re-Animator" and "Creepshow"

Not really. Just the hosts James & Chelsea are big wrestling fans. I don't know why, but I always find moderately famous people being wrestling fans is such a cool thing. I've been a fan of the Dead Meat channel for a couple years now, and if you go back and watch his stuff he shoehorns (in a good way) some references only wrestling fans would get. In the last few months, I forget which video, he made a Darby Allin joke, so yeah, the guy is a huge wrestling fan across the board. He even has footage of him and Chelsea at a WWE event caught on camera during a Seth Rollins move that he put into a video. Like a horror fan, and a wrestling fan??! No wonder I've been lowkey crushing on the guy for a good while. Edit: Seriously check out his "Us" and "Sweeney Todd" reviews if you have the time. The former is just ridiculously sexy (if that's your thing) and the latter is brilliantly edited throughout.

They also did a video of all the wrestling references they’ve used in their Kill Count videos which is worth checking out.

My favorite wrestling reference he makes is during the jigsaw kill count when john Kramer turns up somehow. James says bah gawd that's john Kramer's music. For some reason that makes me laugh everytime.

This coming Saturday, he's having Xavier Woods on to talk about Hostel ("No, one time I went to a hospital in France, met this really great chick...") and then next week he's having Liv Morgan on to talk about Child's Play. Should be good listens.

I've always been a huge horror movie fan so I'm really enjoying this series. I'm also crushing on both Alexa and Liv even more now.

If I can change up a quote from Scary Movie... "What's your favorite scary movie?" "The Chaperone! You know, the one where HHH plays an ex-con." "That's not a horror movie." "Yeah, well, you haven't seen HHH act." Holy shit, Kalisto lives!!!

Bray needs to be on this, full stop. It's obvious that, given elements of his character(s) and storylines, he's a big horror fan. Heck, TOM SAVINI helped create the Fiend. (Heck, when WWE Films can start up again, let him write a horror movie about the Man in the Woods/Cult Leader Bray/Fiend) I'm still waiting....

They really need to have Alexa and The Fiend interact. A true visionary it seems

Billie and Peyton are going to be interviewed on tomorrow's episode. James posted an outtake where he's clearly flustered by the ladies.
