Apparently I'm the only one who preferred the ABC version. It was just funnier to me (No pun intended) I prefer Nick (Honker Burger ftw) But I feel like Disney gets a bad rap. It's still decent. Except they unnecessarily brought in a new baby and f***ing named her Dirtbike. I felt like with the ABC series, they brought in a bit of tension between Doug and Skeeter. Which seemed forced, because those two were like super close friends in the Nickelodeon series. And for some reason, Roger is now rich. I still think the Nickelodeon finale was the best series finale for the show.

Is the theory that Doug is mentally ill, that is why he drifts in and out of day dreams, and see people in colors that are not real, or did I just make this up in my head?

So would you rather eat at Honker Burger or Krusty Krab?

I think Disney didn't like the idea of an antagonist being poor as they felt it would make him sympathetic, ignoring the fact that people have used poverty as a reason for people being antagonistic. So, considering they had the tried and true method of "wealth = bad" (ironic given who they are), they made him rich to justify his conduct.

I might be wrong, but didn't the Disney version actually tone down his antagonistic relation with Doug a bit? Not making them friends as such, but not as bad as previous.

With an vivid imagination and prolonged crushes on people, watching Doug was a show that hit close to home. Some of those episodes were very stressful to watch.

What did Bud Dink do for a living to afford all of those crazy contraptions? Clue's in the name. Yep, sold a lot of bud to the teens of Bluffington Let's talk about this for a moment... All aboard the Porkchop Express ladies

oh boy Mr. Dink: After the cartoon's over we'll play Neptune: King of the Sea. Doug Funnie: How do you play that? Mr. Dink: Well, you know, it takes a lot of water. Bath tub, rip in the shower. You're going to love it.
