So before I go into the rules, there's one big elephant in the room that needs addressed.
In regards to the pandemic and the uncertainty regarding what'll happen with this NFL season, I've been following it semi-close (as close as someone w/o cable TV in their apartment can). It sounds like plans are for the NFL to still hit the dates they'd intended to all along, just with some extra safety precautions. I'm not here to discuss what they SHOULD/SHOULD NOT be doing. But obviously if games get pushed back or the season shortened, that'll affect how the league operates.
I DO have somewhat of a contingency plan ready to go should the NFL alter how the season is played out, and I feel out of full transparency, you all should know that plan too. It is as follows:
At this current time, I still plan on doing a 13 week regular season, with weeks 14-16 being the playoffs since many teams rest starters in week 17 and IMO, forcing titles to be decided basically by a race to the waiver wire for scraps and HOPING multiple game-time decisions go your way (that aren't related to injury) is a pretty lame way to decide your championship.
Tentatively, if the season is shortened, I still intend on the 4th-to-last week being the start of the playoffs with the second-to-last being championship week. Now, do NOT hold me 100% to this. This is just the current idea I have in case such measures are necessary and the season is shortened on either end. There's an "edit post" button and a PM system for a reason, after all. I hope to have a more concrete plan come draft time, but again, this is subject to change. I've debated other ideas; 4-team playoff the final 2 weeks, no playoffs at all (title goes to the best W/L record with the head-to-head winner settling any potential tiebreakers), etc., but those are only going to come into play if the season is drastically shortened (if they shorten the season to 12 games or something). And I assume they won't burn the candle on the other end and bump up the playoffs/super bowl and have less weeks to the season, but I also thought for sure we'd be on the downslope of the pandemic and...out of respect for the F.A.N. TOS I'll stop there...but at this time, that is my current plan assuming the NFL does not shorten the season, and what might be the plan if they do.
Essentially, if the NFL acts, I'll act. If their plans are going through untouched (setting aside the "should"), so will ours.
And with that said.......

The F.A.N.tasy Football League has entered Year 10!!!!!
After all these years, Vince McMahon* won his own company's** world title***!
First, some ground rules. However, most of this will be old news to those of you who have played in the league before:
The draft is currently set for Monday, August 24th at 8:00 PM EST (right as Monday Night Raw begins). This date hasn't been finalized yet and is subject to change, though it'll likely be on a Monday night.
Registration is NOW OPEN! PM ME OR POST IN THE THREAD IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN JOINING!
Here is how the signups work:
If you post in this thread or PM me that you're interested in signing up, I will send an invite to you once signups are open. This will ensure that shortly after registration opens, you'll get a link to sign up for the league. Simply posting in this thread or receiving the invite WILL NOT guarantee your spot in the league. You MUST accept the invite while slots are still open in order to reserve your place. I will continue to send invites until the league is full, not merely stopping when I've sent 14 invites (the # of teams in the league).
Signups are done in this manner to insure everyone is aware of when registration is open, and it doesn't come down to just "seeing the post first".
This is a Yahoo! fantasy football league. This means you will need a Yahoo! account in order to participate. Make sure you have an account and are able to access it before the signup and draft day to prevent any hangups. There is a mobile app for drafts as well if you would rather do it that way or have any difficulties with the in-browser draft window. There will not be any concessions or special cases made for technical difficulties with the draft application unless it's a global issue.

SCORING/ROSTER CHANGES - IMPORTANT
As of this season, we are making a rather major change in the scope of things with the league. It's a move we seem to discuss every year, and with a ton of leagues setting aside the traditional scoring and 3 WR layout, we are following suit.
Starting this season, we are now a PPR, 2 WR league.
All players will now receive 1 point per reception. To balance this, WRs are now limited to 2 starting spots as opposed to the 3 from before. That having been said, the flex spot IS still available if you want to run 3 WRs.
--------------------------
There will be 14 teams in the league, no more, no less. If a spot is forfeit for any reason (more on that in a moment), I will open a spot back up for another player to take over. So please, if you're going to join in, be pretty damn certain you're in it for the long haul.
The draft will be conducted in a snake-style draft. The draft order will be determined by a draft lottery that'll take place on a date TBD (shortly after registration is complete). The order will be reversed in even-numbered rounds. Example: If I got the 5th selection in the lottery, I'd have the 5th choice in the odd numbered rounds, but would have the 9th pick in even-numbered rounds. And yes, this does mean if you have the 1st pick or the 14th pick, you'll often be making two selections in a row, but in return you'll be waiting awhile before the draft comes back around to you.
The rosters will consist of 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 DEF, 1 Kicker, and one Flex position which can be used to play a 3rd RB, a 3rd WR, or 2nd TE on any given week. The flex position CANNOT be used for a QB, defense, or kicker. Also, as mentioned above, this is now a PPR league, meaning 1 point per reception for all positions. Defense can score more points than in a normal league, though not so much that defense becomes overvalued.
The schedule will consist of a 13 week regular season starting on Week 1; this means that everybody will play every other team one time during the regular season. This is subject to change if the NFL makes any schedule changes in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The top 8 teams will qualify for the playoffs, which will take place across weeks 14, 15, and 16 (no games will be played Week 17, as many teams will opt to rest players and/or play backups). There will be losers brackets and the like through the playoffs, so even if you lose in week 14, you will still play on to decide your final ranking. Like the schedule, this MIGHT be changed if the NFL makes any schedule changes in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic. Any teams KO'd from the playoffs will have their teams "locked", preventing them from letting players go or obtaining new players.
The only real grounds for being kicked from the league is collusion between two teams or just being an overall jerk. If you are suspended from the forums during the league year (unrelated to the league), you will be allowed to play out the season, though obviously entering next year won't be likely.
And I believe that's about it. If you have any questions or general trash-talk, this thread'll be here all year.
