I was a contestant on The Price is Right in 2000! I was the first person who made it onto the stage after I won a home gym and after I shook Bob’s hand, I got to play Safecrackers for a truck (Ford Ranger) and a BBQ grill. The number to crack the safe and win the two prizes was the same as the price as the grill. I was holding nine digits up but the entire crowd was screaming “eight!” and I gave into their howling and lost.
At the big wheel, I spun 90 cents, then some chick tied me and Bob prematurely declared her the winner which made my heart skip a beat. I beat her in the spin-off and made it to the Showcase Showdown and my prizes were trips to Holland, Italy and Thailand and $1,000. My guess was $2,600 below the retail price but my opponent bid $1,300 below his. I accepted $1,400 compensation for the home gym since I live in Canada.
Meeting an icon like Bob Barker and shaking his hand was worth it, though; you can’t put a price tag on that!

The Mrs. and I wanna be on the Newlywed Game. We'd get zero points but we'd be entertaining!
"Mrs. Lancer, whom of all your friends did your husband say he would least like to spend time on a desert island?" Amanda. "Well, your husband said Kari." Kari, really? You hate Amanda! I like her more than Kari. But why? You said she's annoying! Right, but Amanda has more meat on her bones. I can kill her and be able to eat for days! (Wife will grab card and smack me with it.)

It's called the SHOWCASE. The SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN is the Big Wheel. Sorry, but as a game show nerd I tend to nitpick things.

Double Dare. I remember when it became a traveling stage show and came to my town; I was so mad that I didn’t get picked.
Video Power. Running through that maze and sticking game boxes to a Velcro vest looked like fun.
Rock & Roll Jeopardy. I love music, and I did pretty well when I played along.
