Bring back Parallel 9.
Also bring back anyone who might actually get that reference.

Sure they were, and Donald Duck is going to perform a flawless rendition of Meatloaf's "I would do Anything for Love,"

True story, about 5-6 years ago there was a local kid who was undergoing cancer treatment next town over from me. He was in the hospital for months getting treatment and watched Ellen because it was always on. He wanted to go to her show and there were local fundraisers to put for the families trip and tickets to the show.
He got to the show, got in the back and Ellen walked past him. Her producer or handler or whatever said something along the lines of “do you think Ellen has time to meet every kid with cancer?” Right to the kids mom right in front of the kid.
This was years before any rumbling of Ellen being a bad person

No sarcasm, you know who I want back?
The Ricki Lake Show
She's been doing a lot of gigs (Masked Singer, X Factor Celebrity) and I think a return to Daytime Talk would do wonders for her

For those that don't remember (did it even air outside the NYC market?), it was an amazing hybrid of The Jerry Springer Show and Double Dare.

And I think WWOR too was a superstation at one point, so non-NY areas may have seen him.

Am I the only person who had no idea she still had a daytime talk show? I mean I never watched it, but it was extremely popular and well known.

When I moved to LA in 2015, the first things people would tell me were "Never work for Ellen and never hang around Danny Masterson at a party."
First time I heard it, I thought it was a joke. Fourth time, I thought it was a running joke. Sixth or seventh time I was like "oh shit, this must be real."
Her being a wrathful appalling boss is Hollywood's biggest open secret. She continues to be full of shit.
Side note, Toby Turner/Tobuscus being an abusive piece of shit was a known thing too, but he never really cracked Hollywood so I don't include him with the above two.

Supposely her dad was a real piece of shit to her. Guess somehow it passes on.

For a very short time it aired on a channel out of Mobile AL. But it aired at like 2am.
