More Veda exposure is def needed. Not only that, she might have more knowledge than Excalibur when it comes to the women. She's wrestled most of them and that could boost her putting them over in the booth. Unfortunately, Veda is in Canada for the foreseeable future. Finally is getting to reconnect with her significant other. Ok Starks then Ladies love Starks

Whats disappointing is that they are dropping the Anna Jay/Brandi feud, kinda like how the Nightmare Sisters fate ended up. I think Anna Jay will try to cheat vs Shida, Tay prevents it then Shida hits her with the tamashi knee and done. Serena will be the one who dethrones Shida imo I'm kinda glad the feud has moved on because in the end Anna won the feud and it makes the title match have more merit. Might not be over and more on a cool down at the very least. I'm ok with Deeb being double champ, Shida's gotta leave in a few weeks, she either drops the belt to Anna or to Deeb I feel. Its too soon for Anna to win the title, she will be protected by having Tay "screwing her".

Only Britt, Thunder Rosa, and maybe Serena (whos already a champ so nvm her) have enough credibility to dethrone Shida. So while one of those three are being groomed bring Ivelisse, Hirsch, and Anna/Tay up the ranks to give Hikaru some bangers on the way out.

So while one of those three are being groomed bring Ivelisse, Hirsch, and Anna/Tay up the ranks to give Hikaru some bangers on the way out. The thing about this is Shida has to go to Japan to film a movie in December, this has been reported. So they have a few options 1. Drop the belt to Anna Jay, probably unlikely, thinking Conti's "I dont wanna cheat" mentality screws Anna in the biggest match of her career. 2. Belt for Belt, the scenario that seems most likely to me. Deeb's gotten quality win after quality win lately, I think they set this up for the December 2nd show, Shida can quietly exit and/or film a segment where someone takes her out, setting up a feud when she comes back, Deeb becomes a double champion and you can continue to build her as an ace of the divsion. 3. Shida drops the title to the top ranked woman. This is currently Big Swole, seems unlikely, they just had a match, and given the backstage segment this week Swole might face Jade Cargill. 4. Shida doesn't drop the belt and disappears for over a month with the title. Insert "Hasn't she done that already" joke here from someone I'm sure. This seems unlikely if they're taking steps to build upon the division, you need to showcase the AEW Women's belt as much as you can since you have two belts now, and you woudln't want people to continue a stigma of "You care about the NWA Women's Title more than your own" Barring some curveball, I think option 2 is what we're getting here, as you said Shida's kinda run through everyone, and she now has to leave for a little bit. Winter is Coming is their next marquee event and it has maybe the biggest TV Main Event of the entire year on it on paper, probably a show you wanna continue to stack, winner gets both titles would do that and then some.

If Serena gets double champ, then what a helluva turn around shes had career wise in all honesty. If it's the road they go? Well earned tbh. She's looked great in every match she's had since joining AEW. Some people including me have compared her to a Dean Malenko with how solid her technical and grappling game actually is, and she'd be a great success story in the whole of wrestling. A very easy champion to build around, maybe even more so than Shida currently since it seemed one of the biggest things about Shida was her promo ability as to why she didn't get as much screentime as she should have and ran out of opponents to fight as the division rebuilt itself. None of that is on Shida either due to the pandemic crippling the roster for awhile and AEW could have still found creative ways to feature her more, but if she's taking a month or long break it'd be a perfect opportunity for her to reset and come back with new feuds as well. Quite literally, because the records reset in January.

Shida will go down as the MVP of the pandemic era for stepping up big time in the clutch, but yeah its time to give her a rest and come back on some final boss shit

I admit I didn't read all 57 pages, so someone might have said this already.
I think they've been doing a fantastic job with the NWA Women's Championship. Why can't they just book the AEW Women's title like this?

I admit I didn't read all 57 pages, so someone might have said this already. I think they've been doing a fantastic job with the NWA Women's Championship. Why can't they just book the AEW Women's title like this? That's the thing, I think they're going to, I think they need to find a rhythm with the division and this week finally felt like "Ok they're finally doing multiple programs they can stick with" and it was a big win I think what hurt the AEW Belt is Shida beat everyone and did so pretty fast due to the Pandemic slicing the roster up. Again not Shidas fault, and AEW did not showcase her in other ways enough for one reason or another, but it lead to them basically having a lot of things go nowhere because it seemed like they were still trying to discover how to make a completely revamped Women's Division work again with an injured Statlander, an injured Baker (Thank goodness she's back), and lost Joshi, Shanna, Gibbs, and Priestley The NWA Deal seems to not only have given the Division a kick in the ass but has given them a new ace in Rosa, potentially for the forseeable future, new signings in Red Velvet, Leyla Hirsch (I think and I hope), Serena Deeb, Jade Cargill, and other potential talents to be signed like Kay and Marti Belle who just became free agents but could still compete for the NWA Belt and the company if they sign with AEW due to the partnership as a whole. Add in the glut of promising young women's talent they have they can build into next year, that's nice. Shida needs a rest and reset, and is gonna get it as she has to film a movie next month, so she's gonna, presumably, drop the belt. I assume to Deeb to unify the belts for a bit so they can be on equal footing and we can get those fresh feuds and expand on the partnership, then Shida, who has run through everyone and is in desperate need of a reset, can come back in January, when the record reset, and she can have fresh feuds and the upper card itself can also get some fresh talent competing for the top belts. If this all goes as planned, the women's division should get back on track heading into next year. This is key, they need to focus on it, but they're showing positive signs for the first time in quite a bit at consistency, I hope that lasts and I hope for the best and we continue to see more good news and more positivity, because as you said, 57 pages is a lot

I still want a merge of NWA into AEW for the bolstering of the womens division alone. Plus part of me wants Aldis/Rhodes 3

I just cant get into Serena....I find her passable in the ring, but nothing special and cant get into her matches. She also needs a gimmick or something other than "she does yoga and she is fit". I think if they give her some gimmick or something that might help a little.

At this point, she even has the credentials to get away with not having a gimmick, but at least establish a personality - even if it's just something like being righteously ticked that her win last night came with unasked-for assistance from Britt Baker, or having a friend with a louder personality, or something.

She is never going to AEW.
Back to Serena, I think she will be fine as a transitional champ, until Britt is ready and Kris returns from injury imo

Good, Tessa is a piece of trash.
I dig Serena. Yeah she doesn't really have a character but she is so freaking good in the ring that it honestly doesn't matter to me. They have people like Britt and Swole who can do great character work, nothing wrong with someone being just a great wrestler when she is taking on people with great characters.

I agree that Serena needs promo time to do some character work but she's one of the best workers they got and has great facials during her matches. Yes, her gimmick right now is "very good wrestler" but in the ring, she's a fighter who makes me believe that she's literally fighting for her life out there. It's not for everyone, but she doesn't need something out of the ordinary to take her to the next level. Just cut a promos telling the story of all the ups and downs she's had and now that she has this title, this is her life and she's never letting it go.
