I'm just gonna say it
I know it might feel a tad inorganic if AEW keeps making Q7 "women time", but they are making it work. They are and have been drawing a good number in that qyarter the last few weeks with good matches.
Now if they keep te development up and devote like 9:15 to 9:40 to the girls, that's a decent chunk of time. They should get some first hour play too, but they're making Q7 work. People seem to be tuning in knowing that's gonna be when the girls wrestle, and maybe that's what they want.

I noticed a trend that Q7 does good when it features an interesting post match angle, first when Vickie was cutting a promo on Shida before Full Gear, and on the last Dynamite it had Britt vs Rosa postmatch brawl and Anna Jay challenging Shida for the title, it wasnt just a random match to fill time.

Agreed. They shouldn't be afraid to put a women's match as the main event of the show First or last, they need one of those prominent positions

Also depends on if they do Title for Title, as that should and could easily main event a show, unless it's on Winter is Coming December 2nd, we'll see.

As soon as Cody introduced the TNT title, he got a few main events to establish that title as important You're not losing anything giving your women a main event spot. If they don't draw the first time, so what. You have to condition your fans that they matter

AEW DARK's stacking the card for the women's division again
Debutes of: Lady Frost, Jennacide is renamed "The Bionic Beast" Jenna, and Vipress
Rache Chanel returns which is neat as does Dreamgirl Ellie whose look I also like
And we get another Waiting Room segment, this time with Tay Conti
A lot of promising stuff this week, Frost is really good btw, saw her in CHIKARA before it shut down and she has a great look. Jenna has a great look as well and stands out so well. Hearing a lot of good stuff about Vipress too.

There is no reason for them not to have opened the show or main evented more anyway. For much of Dynamite's first year, the opening segment was the real crown jewel more than the main event, because main events were broken up by breaks and often ended up rushed to fit the end of the show. The opening match got time, and the hottest crowd. This week's Dynamite was the first time it felt like there was an actual women's division in AEW rather than just a few matches happening in a vacuum in a long, long time. And I'd like to add that Rosa and Deeb almost on their own are elevating this whole division by themselves. The quality of their work compared to everybody else they have is ridiculous, and for once I'm just complimenting those two rather than criticising the rest of the division.

Kenzie Paige will be competing for Impact soon
Not an indication she's been signed to anything but that will be the second major promotion Kenzie has competed for. Shes 18.

I'm happy for Kenzie, and if it ends up being a full-time thing for her, that wouldn't be bad at all.

If only Serena had a character though, feel she would do better as a heel because as a face she is bland.

Can't really turn her heel due to that they're gonna need top tier faces especially if Nyla ain't turning any time soon. Agree on the character stuff though, all she really needs is a Top Flight calibur hype graphic, she has a great comeback story.

I seriously stopped by here to say since the NWA girls have come around, things seem to at least be trending up. They’ve added a much needed spark. Now that I’m here, I also think they need to really invest more in the champion’s booking. I love Shida, big fan, but most of her defenses have just kinda been random. Good matches, but no big stories or heat. Riho was like this too. World title, tag titles, midcard, the champ needs to be a major player. But like I said I feel like it’s getting there. I hope Thunder and them stick around.

Nothing wrong with Serena being a fighting champ and doing an open challenge like the original plan was for Shida's reign and she won't have the language and promo barrier in her way.

I absolutely hate this myth of the language barrier holding people back. That is only wwe bollocks. Shida is super over and Riho was prior to her, language be damned. It's so easy to have her do subtitled promos and vignettes. Shida is loaded with charisma, it wouldn't take much effort to feature her.
