Tesha Price had a really fun match with Ryo on Elevation. Mizunami is definitely needed on this roster. Can have great matches with almost anyone and can teach these women a lot in the ring.

It was always very strange how weak they booked Alex despite her having some very obvious star quality. She got outright squashed a number of times, occasionally not even getting a single move in, and then randomly got elevated to a match with Shida on Dynamite. She almost certainly will be better off in NWA which has been a nice spot for women to find a niche for themselves. I think Gracia will be back, but if you see promise in a talent there is no use using her only in matches where she will lose and inflating her loss record. She can come back another time after getting more reps in and do what Madi Wrenkowski's doing and get more undercard wins. At least AEW's women's division is also in a situation where they have a ton of young, and really good looking girl prospects too.

Ryo's an amazing storyteller, and her matches show why. King and Price had the biggest matches of their baby careers against her the last few weeks and I am sure in having them they learned a lot. King's developing a star look, Price is developing a really good almost feral personality. You love to see it.

I feel like the goal wasn't to bury Gracia, since that's the kind of bit you needed the other person to not screw up, plus I imagine that they will let her do well her next match in order to redeem herself.
I mean, Powerhouse Hobbs' first match, Orange Cassidy beat him in a single move. He obviously bounced back later on.

Great women's matches on DARK Tonight
The Sea Stars look great as a team, and Vixen/Allure had maybe their best showing in AEW period tonight as well. Vox looks like she could be a megastar frankly she just delivers at such a high level already.
King and Velvet are also very smooth as a team, and Vipress may have had her best match tonight teaming with Wrenkowski

I'd keep an eye on Jazmin Allure. Really carries herself well and has all the signs of becoming a good worker.

Abadon needs some vignettes.... She could use them but it's a good job to see character development in general here.

Any reason why they stopped using Rache Chanel? She was a bit green but her character really stood out.

Any reason why they stopped using Rache Chanel? She was a bit green but her character really stood out. Guessing that she just got rotated out, much like Kenzie Paige. On that note, Dani Jordyn has been used more sparingly, and Katalina Perez hasn't had a match or been in the crowd for the past few weeks. There seems to be some amount of rotation, where some jobbers like Fuego del Sol and Tesha Price are kept around indefinitely, but others move on or are no longer booked for whatever reason - sometimes coming back, like Skyler Moore has sporadically. Seems like Paige and Chanel were rotated out to make room for Ellie, Jenna, Lady Frost, and Savannah Evans, who were then more quickly rotated out for Vertvixen, Madi Wrenkowski, Jazmin Allure, Leila Grey, and Ray Lyn. I expect that cycle to keep going for anyone who isn't getting main roster grooming like Ashley Vox and KiLynn King have.

I will say Jordyn, Moore, and Perez also seem like AEW Pet Projects, so I also wouldn't be surprised if they simply dont want to inflate their loss records and are still training them. Dani Jordyn especially has transformed herself over the past year, she could be in the realm of getting wins soon.

I mean it makes sense to rotate out jobbers, keep them fresh and bring back the ones that catch on. Vox and Delfi are probably on tier 0 contracts and I wouldn't be shocked if Wrenkowski and Allure are on them either.

Conti and Allie BROUGHT IT tonight, Conti looks like a megastar, and Allie's found herself after all this time, it's really a treat. And Shida came out with Dark Order and neutralized Bunny trying to cheat her way to a win which was nifty.
Nice to see Jade/Velvet getting its payoff next week, Baker calling out Shida, and Statlander officially becoming a member of the Best Friends!
Good stuff from the girls tonight, and interestingly enough, Amber Nova was ringside tonight, a day after someone suggested her in another thread maybe working with AEW in the future... good timing

Gotta say, little by little Britt is slowly becoming my favorite female wrestler in AEW.

Velvet vs Jade shouldve had the FCA stipulation, Kris joining BFs is a great move(we were talking about more women being in stables and this works), Tay vs Allie was better than expected. As expected another really good promo by Britt.

I know 9:30 has been called the "death spot" by some and it may play out that way in the quarter hours but it certainly didn't feel that way last night. Tay/Allie had more heat than almost anything else on the show and both brought it. I also think the angle a few segments earlier helped too.

Allie definitely demonstrated that she can work a crowd like few others. Hopefully the quality of work will eventually help her out of her ratings problems. Definitely makes me think that she should get a female ally in HFO who can benefit from her heat getting.

Tesha Price has slowly but surely become a bit of a feral whackjob, so she'd fit right in with Bunny.
