It's interesting, because I personally think that Dexter Lumis has benefitted from no crowds, and I wonder if the reaction would be the same if they were there. Conversely, I think that Karrion's offense and his character work benefits from having a crowd.
I think he's going to end up being a big star on the main roster, but then again, we also said the same thing about Aleister Black, Finn Balor and well, everybody else from NXT in the last 3-5 years.

He's ok, then he gets in the ring.

I don't mind him, I'm still interested in seeing what they do with him. I'll admit that he can be a bit corny and makes Aleister Black look way cooler.
Scarlett's awesome.

Isn't he basically supposed to be a cartoon, slightly over the top big final video game or movie boss character?
Since that's what I think they're going for I really don't have a problem with the bugs eyes or facial expressions.
However if he and Lee have a longish 15min match and it's kind is just there. Then he will probably lose me. Right now? He's all good.

He’s one of my favorites. But I understand his flaws and get why some people don’t like him.
I’ve said this before he probably should have jump straight to Raw or Smackdown has he doesn’t really wrestle the NXT style.
Imagine him and Black doing spooky shit to each other on Raw, beating the hell out of each other.
I look forward to his match vs. Lee. That should be good and he should win a few of you over. But if he stinks of the place, maybe I’ll eat my hat.

Question, are people basing their opinions on Kross having seen him in Impact etc.?
'Cause he must have been on NXT TV like what, 3 times so far? Outside of a couple of 2-minute vignettes. Seems a ridiculously short amount of time to be writing him off.
I'd never seen him before his NXT debut, so perhaps he's just new to me and not so much for others.

It does seem very unfair that so many wanna write him off this quick when he has had less than a handful of matches and the majority of ones he has had he won in very quick fashion , the Ciampa match was very well recieved from what I remember so not sure where this growing negativity is coming from since then though. But this was also said when he was signed that people were either going to be welcoming to what he brings or not. I have followed his career from like I said LU dark matches till now and the man is awesome to me because I listened to him on podcasts and how his mind works creatively just vibes with mine in a similar fashion.

As I said he's been thrust into the spotlight so unlike people like Cole, Lumis, Black, etc who got to get time to build their characters up and eventually show their flaws, he hasn't gotten that yet Fans hate strong booking from new acts unless you're Brock Lesnar. People say the dude is try hard but I don't see that. He has wild facial expressions that's about it. He talks in a calm tone and brings a menace that I will f*** you up without question He's going to get his ass whooped at some point. He's not an invincible monster. His character will also evolve. I say him being the Devils Advocate character at some point. He was basically doing it in Impact before he left. Influence others to do bad things because he knows them and because they want to

With the Keith feud already you are starting to see just a bit so far of his ability to tell a story and what an actual feud of his emcompasses...in just 2 weeks look how much emotion and change he has brought out of Keith Lee that alone IMO intrigues the f*** out of me because now I wanna see him push Keith even further I wanna see how others play off of him and react. He may carry himself like a monster but like you said he has not been made to look unbeatable , very tough yes but not unbeatable Ciampa chinked the armor and Keith is gonna hurt this man and it all makes for so many interesting and fun directions with him....he isn't a guy who has to be in the ring to make feuds interesting like alot of the rest of the roster and I love that.

Yea, like at this point I think he takes an L to Lee and comes back stronger later He's not meant to be undefeated. An L to Lee will not kill his aura. He will retool and come back and I think that's where people are getting confused. Can he win the NXT title now? Sure. Does he need it? Not really. If he losses to Lee after pushing him to his limit it only helps Kross more as a character while it gives Lee a big test and shows he is the real f***ing deal The match can go either way. A month ago I would predicted Kross is taking the title off Lee. Now, i'm not so sure

Now, i'm not so sure I think to he takes the L to Lee first because I think this is meant to be a series of matches where it just keeps escalating. Lee beats him in a straight up wrestling match Kross ups his tactics against Lee now he pushes that emotion even further aka getting Mia Yim involved They fight again and this ends with uncertainty. Neither man is satisfied and Keith wants to end Kross for good. Cue a cinematic match where Kross finally beats Lee for the title

I do think Kross is a guy that has been hurt by a lack of a crowd for sure. I dont think Kross has caught on like they had hoped so far but I also dont think WWE has done him much favors.

How has WWE not done him much favors? Personally just feel that they hotshotted him towards the title and just didn't give him momentum. Also wasn't a fan kf the Ciampa feud.

I was thinking “he got his character, his special entrance, squashed one of the faces of the brand off the planet, and now is in a title feud, what else could they do?” Lol

I just don't think feud wise he's been given much to sink his teeth into. Not to say that a Ciampa/Kross feud wouldn't work, I just think the timing was wrong... mostly since I think it was clear that Chiampa was physically and mentally checked/burnt out at that point... and with how NXT looks now there just isn't may established faces to help Kross at this time.

I like him.... fine.
I think he would have benefited from a ‘Goldberg Style killer’ type start to NXT. Have him squash a tonne if people and not sell much before getting Ciampa for a ‘real test’ and definitely a lot more build before the NXT title.
Build the mystique. I have no fears that Keith Lee won’t beat him and it shouldn’t be that way. With his look and presentation, along with Scarlett who could (?) do some damage of her own, Keith should be at least concerned instead of treating him like the next bitch.

It's a monster heel thing, I guess. If people like them, they like them. If they don't, people have absolutely zero patience for them. I guess it makes sense, given how methodical most monster heels are, so it's a slog to get through if someone really haze no good will towards them.

I think Kross vs. Lee is actually going to be a really good match for Kross to actually sink his teeth into.
That being said, I think Scarlett might be wasted as the lip-synching valet. I thought she was really fun as the Smoke Show in Impact, and I don't think she really adds much to Kross aside from the entrance. I'd be interested in seeing how she could add to the Women's title scene in NXT.
