Damn, these are great. Also love that despite his explosive anger, he sticks up for the little man. That was likely rare in that period. He gets on well with his wife in some of them, but the times he's being a jackass, himself, she tends to be the one who gets the last word on him, like if he tries to tell her how to run the household or is a cheapskate while indulging in luxuries like cigars. |
