So HHH just teased that some Raw and Smackdown stars will end up in NXT because “a fresh coat of paint” is always good, etc. and implied gimmick changes and everything. So who do we think is going to the black and gold brand? I think Shorty G has to be right at the top of that list. Dude was a total stud in NXT as Gable, he already has baked in history there and rebranding him under his original name and shooting for the NA title seems like a good idea. Otherwise rebrand him and send him to Raw so he can compete in Raw Underground. Gable (NOT Shorty G!) would be nice and I'd be happy if Aleister Black went back as well.

KO Dolph Gable Dana Brooke Carmella Billie Kay With the likes of Tegan Nox , Dijak , Chelsea Green going to the main roster.

I can see them putting Keith Lee on Smackdown with the draft. I wish theyd wait for after WrestleMania though .

BRING THIS BACK THIS TIME: Like the FULL graphic, one year they didn't include the last little spin of the draft logo before the pick reveal and it decreased excitement by at least 32%. With the advent of ThunderDome, they can absolutely use the LED boards around the arena to replicate that.

A week or two after Wrestlemania always felt like the best time to do a draft. Really sets the feeling of it being a new season after Wrestlemania being the big finale event. So they do it in the fall instead because... reasons. Straight after Mania can't be when the draft happens, because they view the draft shows as mostly long-winded bores consisting of buildups to people's names appearing onscreen. Who cares that the episodes with that shit on drew double the viewers of an average Raw episode now? Let's just have the wrestlers show up on other brands without explanation! And throw out some NXT guys too!
