they tried something new. I liked it. I look forward to seeing it again next week. Lashley, Shelton and MVP as top heels on RAW. Who woulda thunk it.

You know what would have been a better ending?
ANYTHING!
Why not connect the two things. Instead of The Hurt Business have some badass dude in a mask wreck fools and chase of the crowd. It looks like he’s about to take off his mask for the feed to cut out. The last shot of Raw is the chaos group destroying the production trunk until the feed cuts out completely.

Like, I loved Orton/Drew. I thought Raw Underground was train wreck bad, but still kept my attention more than any run of the mill match, same with the Montez stuff. The Hurt Business is entertaining and I like them. Seth destroying Tom Phillips was ammusing. KO was involved a lot as well. But that ending was massively disappointing. I thought there would be a big debut. I feel like the Good and Bad were equal for a push of a 5.

Inspired by the VOW twitter feed, I'm going to answer this poll as if in WWE promo speak.
"I guess some of you want to know what I thought of Monday Night RAW. What did I think of Monday Night RAW, the longest episodic show in television? That's what everyone's asking, right? Well let me tell you posters what I thought of Monday Night RAW, and I'll do it right here in this very thread on the acclaimed Freakin' Awesome Network forum. It's real simple, folks... I didn't even watch Monday Night RAW! Now I hear you all across the forum asking; 'why Starshine, why?' Well guess what, I don't owe any of you people an explanation. The fact of the matter is Monday Night RAW is unwatchable. It cannot be watched, and I blame each and every one of you!"

I don't know what I just watched. That was seriously one of the worst Raw episodes of all time, and I don't really throw stuff like that around lightly. I don't even know what all this Shane stuff with Raw Underground was supposed to be. Was it his attempt to do Fight Club? The problem is that it was so chaotic to watch that I had no idea who was fighting. It was just "One big dude takes on various comers, beats them up, rinse, lather, repeat." The various geeks were never introduced so I have no idea what was going on.
Samoa Joe cut a great promo on Rollins. That was maybe the one bright spot of this show.

Of course that bright spot led to Dominick coming in and Joe disappearing.

Seriously this is leading to Joe/Rollins at SS right? They aren't stupid enough to debut Dominick in the semi main event of the 2nd biggest PPV of the year, are they?

10/10
* Lenghy match between Apollo and MVP! * Liv getting a W and actually having something worthwhile to do... * KO and IIconics interactions. * Drew's The Rock n' Crap promo! * Molotov Men (Hello, Undisputed Era! * Dominick is finally having an actual match. Weird. * Friggin' RAW Underground: Dancing gals, Shane O'Mac as Dana White and Erik The V-Trigger Viking! I hope to see cameos from everyone I said earlier plus Ivar, Matt Riddle, possibly Brock Lesnar and Tozawa's Tall Ninja. What a show!

This is the most up and down ratings thread I've seen maybe ever.

I don't know if I can put a number on it. From the Shane thread: As a one-off, given I haven't watched RAW in a long time, tonight's episode was about 40% car crash almost-Attitude "whoever put this show together is high as a kite" can't-look-away mess. Unfortunately, it was also about 40% commercials, recaps, and nothingness. It also had terrible camerawork. Also the ending was basically just "heels stand tall in the ring", but in a different ring, after beating up a bunch of guys I've never seen before in a location we've seen a combined 10 minutes of, so it was completely meaningless.
It left a bunch of unexplained stuff hanging, with no actual leading cliffhangers to point to "this will definitely continue next week, you really need to come back and tune in again to see the exciting continuation/conclusion!". In summary, the weird bits were entertaining, the other bits weren't, everything was confusing, and now I dislike RAW for different reasons to the ones I had before. Keep trying, I guess? Maybe they'll hit on something with more... uh, I dunno, longevity? logic? answers?
It had some stuff that made me glad I watched, but the whole show was just littered with gobsmacking brain-twisting stupidity to counterbalance all the goodness in it. I think they had some good ideas in there somewhere, they just utterly failed to do anything coherent with them.

Also forgot to mention how much I absolutely loved the moment when MVP just told the suckers to be on their places as it's their club now! So corny yet effective. I want Lashley to become superiore god of el combate, let him run that show for a good while! ('til someone like Undisputed Era, Matt Riddle or Brock Lesnar shows up) ...

No score, but it reads as mad as a bag of cats. Like an early 1999 RAW but with camera cuts instead of transphobia.

Anyway what ever makes you happy is cool with me. Expect you know if you like the murder or racism. Not really, also did not see any in the show... I've probably said this couple times here at boards: I love a nice well put plans and lengthy ordinary wrestling events. That's what ROH was and AEW is to this day to me. This year I've enjoyed lots of these cinematic matches, regardless. I won't get myself into mess of not enjoying 'em when they're this over the top. I usually hear negativity 'nuff when I listen about 3 to 6 wrestling podcasts weekly. When RAW or SmackDown does something like this, it's like a full known parody of what's hip and so. - I just love it! I enjoy it like a good B-Horror Movie. I don't even try to enjoy the thing like it's shot-by-shot great Irishman. I was once a vivid MMA fan at one point too, but after the "sport" turned even more sour than WWE programming, I've just watched the freak show fights. Also, whenever I get some of my hopeful scenarios right - it just feels 10 x more sweeter!

At any rate, good for you for enjoying it, I think it's good for the boards to have more posters who aren't overly negative. It offers multiple perspectives
