Did wwe actually promise anything, or did we get too excited about a "report"? "WWE.com has learned that a new faction is arriving on #WWERaw tonight. What does this alliance have in store for the red brand?" well apparently they arrived
Well, on a technicality, yeah, they arrived. Then I guess they went to get dinner or something?

If I'm going with my gut... "Shock The System" is a slogan that fits the mold here. I just don't know who the woman is in this scenario. Roddys' wife? She can't work and the group is about workrate so maybe...trying to think who would fit that is good and signed from PC...it's kind if difficult because NXT uses so many women on TV already. Just picturing a ninja wearing a bucket hat.

So what's this faction going to be called? Wrestlers Really Matter? Antiwres? What "evil organization" is on Raw as heels, and will the babyface "agents" come in and stop them from destroying "private property"?

And then it will end with Vince McMahon riding in on a horse (figurative or literal) as the ultimate hero, perpetuating the Stockholm Syndrome he's used since at least WCW collapsed and likely well before that.

5 ninjas throwing mollies at the PC’s generator. I assume this is Vince`s attempt of being "relevant" with the riots The fact that Ryan Satin said that this was NOT POLITICAL was a pretty good indicator that it would be political.

What really? What happened exactly? 5 people, atleast one woman I think threw a molotov cocktail at a power supply that f*** up the lights and mics for the first hour. So they're doing Occupy RAW all over again. This f***ing tone-deaf company.

Some dudes (and possibly a dudette) in hoodies with molotovs.
We think.
All we saw was about 30 seconds of security footage which was never mentioned again, and maybe I was only half-listening, but I don't think they even explicitly tied it in with "technical issues" which occurred early in the night... and then stopped occurring, for reasons unknown.

The strawman "You'd complain about [opposite case]" argument isn't a good foot to start on at all, but this is entirely on WWE for its decision to have so many accounts at once hype this up and even act like they were giving show spoilers just to get people to tune in, only for what happen to mean nothing. You can't set expectations and make people think something important is going to happen and then deliver on the first 20 minutes of a haunted house movie. They've already blown their load by announcing this. To then not follow through with it is the problem. People in the announcement thread were criticizing the idea of not building up to the faction normally and creating some actual mystique around it, but by having this weirdly framed, clumsy mess play out the way it has, any mystique is dead. "You didn't like this because it was done poorly, but if it was done poorly some other way you wouldn't like that either" isn't the argument you think it is.

My thing is, why are you still doing these dumb ass bait and switches when the rating are terrible. Do they think people will care enough about some random people knocking over boxes and destroying a generator to tune in next week? They drafted a whole press release about how a faction was debuting and we got nothing.

Do they think people will care enough about some random people knocking over boxes and destroying a generator to tune in next week? They drafted a whole press release about how a faction was debuting and we got nothing. Time and again, this is the problem. We've had so many ratings stunts like this go nowhere; you can't promise people something and then show them so little. Someone should have ended Raw beaten up. There should have been a scene of someone getting jumped and beaten down. A message. A threat. Something. There's so much space between what they did and "just blow all the reveals at once", the spectrum of how many stories they could have told in between those extremes is a broad one. Nobody cares about a big piece of equipment in a parking lot. That doesn't mean anything to anybody. Have a wrestler get attacked. This is basic.
