Something I've noticed lately in recent programming, is that most of the roster is being used in programs. That was one of the biggest complaints when complaining about current times compared to "better days" Names in bold are the ones who aren't being used as far as I could see. I left off the injured and part timers.
Drew- WWE Champ/feud with Orton Sasha/Bayley- Faces of the women's division Apollo Crews- US champ/feud with Hurt Business Street Profits- Tag champs feuding with Zelina's boys Shelton- Hurt Business Akam- Out hurt Akira Tozowa- Lower card comedy/24/7 stuff Aleister Black- Involved with Seth/Dominic Andrade/Angel Garza- Challenging for Tag titles feud with Street Profits Asuka- feuding with Sasha/Bayley Austin Theory Bianca Bel Air- Involved with feud vs Zelina's boys Lashley-Hurt Business Cedric Dolph Ziggler- Just finished a WWE championship program. Viking Raiders- Finished their Street Profits program, we'll see whats next. Humberto Carillo Kevin Owens- Unclear but facing Orton next week, very involved in the early part of tonight's episode Liv Morgan- Riot Squad reunion(?) feud with Iconics Murphy-Seth's disciple Natayla Nia Jax- Suspension angle for attacking Pat Buck Iconics- Feud with Ruby R-Truth- Being R Truth Rey Mysterio- Selling the eye injury. Dom/Seth feud Ricochet Riddick Moss Robert Roode Ruby Riot- Feud with Iconics Shayna Bazler- Trying to find her path to a title shot Shelton Benjamin- Hurt Business Titus O Neil Zelina- Leading her boys in feud with Street Profits.
I don't know if some of the bolded names are out due to Covid concerns, BUT for the most part, it seems like WWE is trying to get most of it's talent something to do. Whether or not you like the stories are subjective, but I really don't think, the "everyone had something to do back then" argument carries to much weight right now.

Yeh,like Iiconics and Ziggler aint got anything besides losing,it is less a feud and more just losing to put people over. And I don`t know if being suspended while not in a feud is something, but I havent followed closely to know the details

Being a jobber is not being in a program Yes it is, not everyone can win. As long as you look decent doing it, and you doing it is entertaining to enough people, then losing is both a) something to do and b) being in a program

I’ll be honest, “something to do” is doing a LOT of legwork here.
Also, a jobber is a role, not a thing to do. There’s a distinct difference.

I’m sorry, but I really don’t see how “something to do” is a stretch at all. You may not like the “something” and that’s fine. I’m certainly in no spot to tell you what to like. But, most talent are currently involved in something other than “pop up for a random match then disappear.”

To be in a program a jobber has to feud with the same person for a decent amount of time. Like Ellsworth did with AJ Styles.
