The commercials kept saying available monday at Walmart. I went to walmart and absolutely no figures were available. I thought I got beaten to the punch by other fans, but there were a bunch of toy belts and rings available. Like lots of them. I also checked on Walmart's site, and they only have the belt. Any word on what the deal is? is there a delay? Also, I am now world champ (even though the belt doesn't reach all the way around me waist). EDIT: So looks like there was a delay. Logistics and all. They might come out later this week. 411mania.com/wrestling/aew-action-figures-launch-delayed-logistics-statement/

For those who aren't big toy collectors, just gonna let y'all know: Walmart is horrible with their exclusives. I dread any time a toy is announced as a Walmart exclusive, because that usually means that if I find it at all, it will be months later when I am not looking for it. Seems to have not been so bad for their Transformers series, but the exclusive Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Captain America toys they have carried were utter pains for these reasons.

Just make sure you don't take that belt to a Longhorn Steakhouse anytime soon.

We're looking at late September/October for these to arrive in UK, and that's if you were lucky enough to pre order them early. Even that is just an estimate.

I pass 4 targets before I hit a Walmart to be disappointed by their selection. I absolutely hate store exclusives.

My local Walmart didn't have the Walmart-exclusive Thanos in that I went there day-of to get. None of the Marvel Legends stuff on the singular release "This is when all Infinity War stuff drops" day for merch worldwide. It wasn't even in their computer system, which I got to learn standing there bug-eyed in Captain America pajama pants as someone who I went to high school with tried to make sense of my madman ravings about Walmart exclusive superhero toys that were allegedly coming out that day while trying very hard to pretend she had no idea who I was. Walmart is a f***ing mess for this stuff, even when things aren't just moving on track, but literally mandated by the toy company as The Day This Happens.

Brian and Matt went into pretty good detail on a recent episode of the pod about why Walmart has such problems with figure distribution.

This explains why I couldn't find any infinity war figures when the film came out. I thought they were bad at resupplying after selling out. It also explains why there was a mass abundance of Infinity war toys a few weeks before Endgame came out.

Stupid Walmart. Stupid Covid. This is the most excited I've been for a new figure since The Question Justice League Unlimited. Better have them at the end of the week.

Same, thought everyone beat me to them. Finally asked and they said they’ll be in on the 7th and on shelves on the 8th.

I gotta say, for being a $20 toy, that belt looks pretty sick. Can't wait to get mine by the end of the week.

It also explains why there was a mass abundance of Infinity war toys a few weeks before Endgame came out. Inside the same big stretch of malls in the area, the Toys 'r Us had someone on-shift whose job that day was literally just to set up the displays of all the Infinity War stuff and stock those things specifically, and even the local Gamestop had things out. No idea what Walmart was doing with their time, but I ended up having to buy Thanos off an ebay reseller and just have not bothered with Walmart for toys since. Might vary store by store I guess, since someone's had to have it in stock for me to find the exclusive on ebay, but I guess for some perspective on timing; the big day this all dropped was super super early in March of that year, two months before the movie. Your Walmart's probably going to be cursed, too.
