I get this, but I also don’t. I can understand the idea of bringing in the people who knew the original vision to make something feel the same as it used to and understand what made it work. It can be important from making something feel like a cash grab as he describes it. On the flip side, stuff like this can be a great springboard for new talent to come in, fans of the original in some regard, put their own stamp on something and show their ability to produce their own works from the respective networks. Like how Andrew Stanton went from writing Pixar movies to directing them later down the line, stuff like that. So I guess I can get it but there’s a lot of bitterness in that tweet.

Wish Slappy and Skippy would return as well, them along with the Warner sibling and Pink&Brain were the main stars in the show. Part of me would like to see new characters that replace the likes of Rita and Runt, Buttons and Mandy for example.

The idea that those two segments were all anyone liked, so that's what they are bringing back. Granted, external factors also affect the ability to deal with certain segments if you want to do them justice but it comes off like the show cherry picked the heavy hitters and ignored the rest.

Which isn't much different from the original by the time it switched to Kids' WB. Ironically, those eps. seemed to be nothing but the Warners and...Slappy and Skippy. The latter leading to what was one of the least funny segments in the show's history, of course. While of course PatB had their own show (which was about to be totally ruined, but that's another story for another day). KWB eps. also became the writers' ground to do shoot promos on everyone. Again, another story another time!

Considering who Nate's dad is, I understand that bitterness 1000%. I wasn't aware the creative writer folks weren't coming back - I get why: WB's moving on to a new generation of writers, and on some level I'm sure all the original writers support that initiative......... but of course when you break it down you then have to, if you're one of those writers, accept that you're personally getting less work now because of this belief. And then suddenly the belief isn't as strong, I guess.

Oh sure, that I have sympathy with and if it were me, I'd get key writers with newer talent to make for a better creative team flow but I'm not WB.

Looks like Hanna-Barbera characters will appear in the show As a HB mark, I'm down. In between this and Jellystone on HBO Max, I appreciate the resurgence.

Looks fun, but I knew they were gonna work in the required anime parody. Hopefully it’s well animated, it’s just everybody has done the anime spoof.

The fanarts for this should be off the charts.

The only thing that I just do not like and it was especially noticable in this newest trailer is just how cheap the animation looks at times especially the backgrounds.
But thus is the price to pay going digital over hand drawn I guess.

I hope they don’t go all Family Guy/Seltzerberg and fill the show with overused pop culture references.
