Ps you can skip the credits as they don't do a stinger. Felt like there should have been but alas I know why they wouldn't though. These eps will mostly be viewed on Hulu, which always skips the end few seconds of every episode of ever show that's on it.

Haven't watched any yet...any word on the new regulars? Or as I think it might, it's half Warners, half PatB?

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Episode 5 does give us an explanation as to what happened to the rest of the original cast, with an ending cameo from most of the exiled characters. Who knew Chicken Boo was that vindictive?

Are all these reboots of kids TV shows aimed at kids or millennials? The new Saved by The Bell looks like a teen show, but why would teens want to watch something that was popular 20 years ago?

Kids will probably enjoy this, but this show is very clearly aimed at the original fan base. 30-40 year olds who love the original will probably love this, so far I do

Mind you, I'm about 3/4 way through the first episode but it's reminance of the old show. The animation is a little bit more elastic than the old show and the backgrounds for me seem cheap computer animation, but it's a new era and everything is done by computers these days. Also, like I said this could just be I'm watching the first episode and the animation needs time to solidify and evolve.

I'm not sold on the animation style yet, I think it looks uglier than the original series, but I feel like that's the curse of not being hand animated. The choices they've made in character designs is weird.
But that said...man...episode 4 really goes for it. That's all I'll say about it.

Yeah, none of this stuff is new but in the wider media landscape, if that’s all that’s really popular, it sort of stands out more. Like, come on, one of the most popular movies of the 80s, Scarface, was literally a remake.

So I decided to sign up for Hulu and just spent the night marathoning all thirteen episodes. It was good, but a definite step down from the original series. I don't know what it was, maybe just nostalgia, but the spark just wasn't the same as it was twenty years ago.
I really wish they would've brought back some more of the old characters. I understand why a return of Rita and Runt was unlikely, but I enjoyed the Goodfeathers and Slappy Squirrel back in the day, I'd have loved to have seen them again. Also, I wish they would have done more with the new lady CEO. From what little we saw of her it looked like she had a lot of potential to be a really fun character, but she barely appeared.
I thought Pinky and the Brain fared a little better, although you can tell that Maurice LaMarche is having trouble doing the Brain's voice now. Another new character that I thought had potential was Julia. I was sorry that she wasn't followed up on.
So I have a month to play around with Hulu before I cancel my subscription. There are a couple things on it I want to take a look at, hopefully I'll have time.
