It's like paying for a NeoGeo video game system, but when you open the box, it's a handheld Tiger Electronics game...

I do love me some NWA Powerr but not at $12/show and forget about the monthly price. Someone out there will end up steaming it for free.

Not going to knock them for trying something, but this just really feels like they're prolonging the inevitable unless there's a decent discount with a membership. In an era where wrestlers, promotions, and podcasts can get their most hardcore fans to support them on Patreon, I can see serious NWA supporters paying $30-35 per month. Of course, they're the exception rather than the rule and the NWA will still need some type of short-form YouTube program to promote the new venture. I don't expect full-length Power episodes for free, but even a 10-minute "This Week in the NWA" show with highlights and announcements for upcoming events will help viewers get up to speed.

I don't think even the hardcore of the hardcore would pay 15$ a week to watch the NWA.

I'm tempted. If there is a way to say buy a month's worth of shows for 10 or less a show I will try it out for the first month.
But as someone mentioned modern fans have gotten spoiled by having three major and great wrestling streaming services that for 10 bucks a month off thousands of hours of content.
I'm already paying 10 a month for Highspots and 10 a month for IWTV. NWA is gonna have to be pretty damn good to keep my business after that first month.

If barely anyone watched when it was free on YouTube then surely it’s a bad idea to try and charge people money? Hundreds of thousands were watching for free on YouTube. If they get even 3,000 of them to buy this, that means they have $21,000 from each episode to put toward expenses. I'm not sure how you expected them to pay for the shows to happen if they didn't begin charging for it. That was always the end game. To generate revenue. A few hundred thousand YouTube views is nothing really in the grand scheme of things. I’d be very surprised if 3,000 people or anything even close to it are going to pay $48 a month to watch a show where Damien Sandow and Magnus are the biggest stars. I could be wrong though.

I could never see how Power was going to make them much money, unless they got sponsors and big crowds. This is just confusing. I can see Corgan wants them to continue, but at this price I just can't see it working.

For $8 Australian a month I can see Moxley, Jericho, Omega, The Young Bucks, Cody & more why would I pay $60 each month to see Magnus continuously hold the NWA belt?

Yeah I'm not surprised people are finding an issue with a weekly price point. They should have done a monthly bundle or something
I guess NWA isn't dead, there's that, but now I wonder how many talents walked away while they had the chance like Starks and Kingston...

youtu.be/9-u-ZZgXut8Now advertising on social media is starting to pop up. Still no exact price. So far these are the NWA talent that have been used in marketing. Aron Stevens Eli Drake Nick Aldis Richard Morton Robert Gibson Tim Storm Allysin Kay Kamille Thunder Rosa NWA wrestlers that haven’t been used in marketing so far: (Yes I know some of these guys were one offs or weren’t used in the last set of tapings, but their still listed on Wikipedia) Homicide James Storm Jax Dane Jocephus The Question Mark Matt Cross Mr. Anderson Royce Isaacs Sal Rinauro Scott Steiner The Dawsons The Pope Thom Latimer Trevor Murdoch Zicky Dice Marti Belle Melina The rest of the video features wrestlers from Championship Wrestling From Hollywood including Gentleman Jarvis. It’s interesting Drake is promoted but not James Storm as they currently hold the tag team championships. Zicky isn’t even listed on Wikipedia anymore but is the current tv champion, when a producer saw a comment about Dice leaving he said the poster was wrong about Zicky’s contact status. So who knows. I’m glad a lot of the best parts are still there. But I think I’d rather watch Impact on Tuesday nights.

Oh crap they got Hammerstone.
He’s not going to be defending the MLW openweight championship. Instead hes defending his west coast pro wrestling heavyweight championship vs. EJ Sparks

Interesting.

I know people are complaining about pricing, keep in mind NWA TNA was 9.99 a show. Not sure how well they will do when they have a yo yo on views on Youtube. The last show had 190,000 viewer, But they have had 350,000 per show. Scott Steiner debut was 563K as it stands right now. From week to week was all over the board.

Exactly, you can a major organization's monthly service for a fraction of that. I liked NWA Power, but I'm not paying almost five times more than NJPW World for it.

I want to support the NWA, but this is very expensive. Especially right now with everything in so much flux.
