I was actually excited that NWA was back because I loved Powerrr but when I saw the card I was disappointed.
No one is talking about it at all, so it must have sucked.

I think it is more no one saw it.Normally with in an hour of a PPV being over if you check the right places you can find it. I haven't seen hide nor hair of the NWA PPV anywhere.

And I just found out my co host on The king of wrestling podcast, did get the NWA PPV last night. But only saw parts cause the stream on FITE was acting up. "What I saw was good. But not PPV level good."

Apparently Mike Bennett touching the NWA title was enough to make the globe fall off the belt.

They should have focused on the NWA brand. Nobody knows what UWN is.
For the TNA comparisons. Why they succeeded was partially because of the vacuum left by ECW and WCW folding. Now there’s wrestling on every night of the week for free as well as countless indies you can stream on fite.
The main event sounds great next week but there wasn’t any stinger for somebody to want to tune in.

I caved and brought it. It was fine.
The mainevent was better than it had any right to be
I think it will take some time to figure out the best pacing and what the show is. All the matches went a little to long and the show seems a little disjointed.
Next week besides Rosa vs. Kelly
Gentleman Jarvis & friend (didn’t catch the man) in action.
Eli Drake (no mention of him being NWA tag champion) vs. Eric Watts (no not that one, there’s another one from CWfH.)
NJPW’s Karl Fredericks in action.
Looks like a much better show than this weeks.

...I am baffled that anyone would keep Eric Watts as their ring name. Even if that's your real name, that name has a history that a wrestler should want some distance from. As evidenced by my reading the name and immediately thinking "Wait, REALLY?"

As evidenced by my reading the name and immediately thinking "Wait, REALLY?" Every time I’ve seen him throughout the last few years, he’s been billed only as “Watts”. Really he should have just picked a different ring name. I do appreciate seeing another person from the Stone Cold season of Tough Enough still in the business.

Yeah, he’s been a strong Hollywood Heritage champ for a while. I think he looked a tad too cocky when he finally dropped it to Ray Rosas, but he’s a credible top guy for UWN.

So anybody ordering the show tonight, it had Thunder Rosa vs Priscilla Kelly.
Zicky Dice it appears was not granted his release from NWA and they are exercising their rollover on his contract

Apparently his name is Sweet Robin Shaw and he just executed the worst spinning heel kick in wrestling history, with a one inch vertical leap in attempt of hitting that move
