Haven't watched it since the MSG Disaster last year. That feels like a hundred years ago now.

So they can figure this out but they're still investigating Marty for something he already admitted to?

So they can figure this out but they're still investigating Marty for something he already admitted to? This leads me to one of two thoughts. 1: Marty Scurll maintains that the encounter was consensual and therefore legal. The girl in question claims that said incident took place when she was intoxicated, and therefore could not have bee consensual. There is a possibility that ROH is putting in the work to find other people with knowledge of the incident to determine the exact details of the incident in question, to determine if Marty did something illegal. Although it's gross 16 is the age of consent in England, so it is possible that they could keep him around if it comes down to he said/she said about the legality of the encounter. 2: They're banking on the fact that the legality of the encounter or lack thereof is dubious, and they just want to let the outrage die down before they bring Marty back in. Though I will say Marty's second statement on the subject was better than his first, I also think that it's a poor move to keep him around. He's talked a lot about action being needed, but I think right now it's impossible to trust him until he actually shows us actions toward fixing this problem.

Of all the major promotions impacted by the pandemic, ROH got a pretty bad end of the stick; they were finally starting to put some things together with hype behind them, seemed like they were in position to undo some of the self-inflicted damage from 2019, finally getting what at least looked like a legitimate women's division going, etc. Hoping for the wrestlers and talent there that they manage to get back on the horse and have the chance to get things righted again.

Would really hope their tv show becomes an actual show again and not just highlights from past shows.

They'll only get rid of Marty when it's financially convenient for them, ie his deal costs them more money than they've been bringing in. Which is rapidly approaching due to the pandemic.

IN many ways, Ring Of Honor never left sir. They've always offered the same great wrestling at affordable prices.

I get why they'd hand the book back to Delirious in the current situation, but they really do need a fresh voice with a major spot in creative. Jonathan Gresham's supposed to be in charge of the new women's division, I say see what else he's willing to do.

Somewhere, Matt Taven is readying himself for another title reign. And more bad t-shirt designs.

I wonder if ROH has reached out to get Punk to book or be head of creative?
He'd cost alot but ROH can afford it.

Imagine back in February, that in August, they would take the book from Marty Scurll and give it back to Delirious, and it would be largely considered good(ish) news.
