Paramount Plus is better, I guess, but I don't care a ton either way.

Yeah the problem with CBS All Access is the name... I mean you could make an argument that part of HBO Max's problems are name related... but only because there were 2 other HBO (whatever) services that already existed. Yeah the name always made it sound like it was just an extension of their app that already existed but now you gotta pay for it and some originals that they won’t put on real cbs. Kind of like how much of the stuff on Peacock is still on the nbc app (and in some cases only on the nbc app like saved by the bell new class) I was being sarcastic with the first part. CBS All Access is fine... I didn't know that there WAS a CBS app otherwise (however there is a paramount app) the issue is they don't have the backlog that people want to watch, nor do they really have shows that people are going to stay subscribed to watch... a name change isn't going to fix that fundamental problem.

It makes sense as Paramount is the stronger brand internationally thanks to decades of movies and comedy.

I'd honestly disagree with that and would argue that, if it wasn't for the FOX purchase, it'd have as much as Disney in terms of content. You're talking about CBS, home of influential sitcoms and shows, Paramount, home of some well known movies and properties, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, all that alone have prominent content. Like, rights might be an issue but to say they don't have the backlog is a bit disingenuous. Now, if you're talking about a way to showcase that, absolutely, they don't seem to know that yet.

Paramount Plus is better, I guess, but I don't care a ton either way. If not Paramount Plus, go one step further and call it...Super Paramount (sorry, couldn't resist)? How about a nod to logo fans and call it the "Big V"?

Geez, that's bush league. Not even trying to hide the Disney envy.

Well, the Super Bowl commercials last night were........interesting? terrible? ok?
But by all accounts, Beavis & Butthead saved 'em.

Still, if they ran a show based on the ads 24/7, I'd watch it.
