I sorta bought into Ted changing his ways for a while, but there were certain things that always bugged me about him. His treatment of the Warrior around the time of his HoF induction was one of those things. So many guys who didn't wear their religion on their sleeve were either burying the hatchet or at least shutting their mouths and letting Warrior have his moment and yet there was Rev. Ted being outspokenly critical of him based on stuff that happened 20-25 years ago. You would think Rev. Ted would be on the front of the forgiveness train, but he didn't even seem to be aboard. It could be Ted was embarrassed to deal with the past issues. I do think both guys had resentment against each other because their early 1990s matches were awful. Ted probably held resentment for Warrior not being a good wrestler and getting a top spot and Warrior probably resented Ted because Ted was capable of putting on great matches with anyone but wouldn't help Warrior to great matches. I do remember Ted saying he never took the chance to go up to Warrior stating because he wanted to give Warrior his moment without and not bring up past issues during the moment. Who would have thought Warrior would pass so soon after. Maybe Ted thought Warrior would do many more appearances with WWE and they could do a talk at a better time.

I heard him say that too and I didn't buy it. Was he that tuned out that he didn't realize that WM weekend was a feelgoodfest with Warrior and so many guys burying the hatchet? Otherwise, it makes no sense to me that he would be the guy sitting back and not burying the hatchet because he didn't want to interfere with his moment, when that whole weekend and all the hatchet burying was a big part of that moment. As I recall, he was also heaping dirt on Warrior just days prior to his moment, so I don't buy Ted's story.

That at the very least could have prompted a small backstage conversation.

I feel compelled to post his ill-fitting auto tune theme: youtu.be/snDUkFFWEZw“Imma tell you like my dad did me: ‘Money tall like an elephant, Strong like a veteran.” Wise words. Fun fact, this was actually a last minute replacement. Originally, WWE contacted Nyle vs The Naysayers (of "Let the Beat Build" fame) to record an original theme, and they did, but IIRC at the last second they were told it was "too jam-my") so they whipped that up for Ted. I should reach out to Nyle and see if he still has the original.

Man this whole last couple of years have really made the Dibiases out to be royal scumbags. It takes another level of shittery to steal money under the guise of both religion and charity.

Yea no charges on Ted Jr so far. Asked around earlier to see if anyone I knew had heard more. Same stuff "Yea supposedly he either used money from Brett to buy the house" or "He used money from Brett to help his real estate stuff"... Who knows. Just been a crappy year for MS wrestling. Had Kamala dying and the Dibiases all getting in trouble pretty much. What's next Marko Stunt being charged with steroid possesion and distribution? I'm joking Marko... I'm Joking. I think it's safe to say Marko had nothing to do with human growth hormone.

Warrior posted this on his blog ten years ago. At the time, I and a lot of others dismissed it but did Warrior know something? www.sescoops.com/ultimate-warrior-shoots-hard-on-ted-dibiase-sr/KLet’s be honest, here, Father Teddy. (What irony, having to instruct a man-of-the-cloth to be honest.) It was never guilt that made you change your ways to become a man of God. It was gluttony — and your dark desire to continue getting away with it. You’ve never had the discipline, in your whole life, to restrain your appetites for anything — and you still don’t. All you’ve done is substitute vices and indulgences. When you were in the business and your ego was powered by your gimmick and your fame and celebrity, you were gluttonous for sluts and salacious thoughts and living. When it was all over, the superficiality of celebrity was gone and you had nothing to cling to anymore to cover up your natural repulsiveness. Even the worst whores have standards. Once you were nothing, without the TV and the Million Dollar Man gimmick (which WWF footed the entire bill for), they wanted nothing to do with you anymore. You crawled home on your knees to your wife and God, all seemingly in the desire to be forgiven. But all you’ve truly done is use religion as an excuse and means to continue getting away with other forms of self-indulgent gluttony.” I'm no fan of the Artist formerly known as Jim (him laughing at a suicide victim is the lowest of the low) but even a broken clock can be right twice a day.

Maybe the EU link it automatically redirects me to is causing problems for Americans. www.clarionledger.com/story/news/politics/2020/08/14/ted-dibiase-jr-federal-agents-trying-seize-madison-ms-home/5572207002/Mississippi's welfare agency paid DiBiase Jr. and his leadership training business more than $3.2 million over two years, including $500,000 from the food stamp program. Unsurprisingly no work was done related to “emergency food assistance." The whole lot of them just looted the Mississippi benefit system for personal gain, filling their pockets at the expense of the poor and hungry. Every penny they took meant a family in need went without.

It looks like IRS is finally going to turn on Ted. I saw this coming from 3 decades away. A babyface IRS. Never thought I'd see the day.

My Aunt used to work in Mississippi, and told me about all the people struggling there. Assuming those allegations are legit, that's f***ing evil.
