Wow, Rampage with an effortless kip up. Austin Theory would be proud.

I gotta say, when you take Cole outta the equation, WWE really has an unmatched commentary team across all brands. Andy Shepardβs play by play is fantastic and Nigelβs color work has gotta be the best in the company.

The heavy meat is definitely being bumped and slapped in this one.

WALTER and Brown channeling some serious Kenta Kobashi vs Kensuke Sasaki in this meat-bloke chop-fest!

The question kinda needs to be asked... for all the chatter about Dunne and Bate, could RAMPAGE be the first British WWE champ??

WALTER and Brown channeling some serious Kenta Kobashi vs Kensuke Sasaki in this meat-bloke chop-fest! And Nigel namechecks Kobashi and Misawa, to one-up me. And now I really want WALTER vs prime Kobashi. Can we invent time travel, please?

Hot take. That match by alittle was better than WALTER vs. Ciampa imo

The question kinda needs to be asked... for all the chatter about Dunne and Bate, could RAMPAGE be the first British WWE champ?? You never know for sure. Although to be technical, the first British WWE Champion wouldβve been McIntyre since Great Britain includes Scotland. You probably mean specifically English.

Well that made sense. WALTER/Psycho Dragunov rematch seems destined to be the way WALTER finally falls.

That one didn't grab me like the other two did, but not bad all the same. Decent hour of wrestling.
Also to try and refine the threads of an opinion I've been trying to form re: NXT/NXT UK vs main roster, I think it comes down to NXT/NXT UK not feeling too big to care. Feels intimate without being trashy, it connects in a way that the big shows haven't felt capable of doing in years, it understands there's an audience and that they're trying to enjoy it, that they're invested. Does that make sense? I say that without the benefit of having watched the weeklies, so maybe I'm just lacking the full context, but from what I've seen that's just how it comes across to me. I feel like I could pretend to be a new viewer, as I might as well be, so that's a good "first impression".
