manchester city are also through to the champions league semi finals, after a second leg 2-1 victory in dortmund! 4-2 aggregate
liverpool are out though, sounded like they had chances, but not balls hitting the back of the net, and held their 1-3 aggregate score ... a successful night for real madrid, except for their bus!
the SEMI FINALS

I wouldn't bet against none of them making it to the finals either, though.

The quadrupoil is gone. City out of the FA Cup. Good god that game was bad. Man City looked like they didn’t give two shits.

Inter Miami is in deep trouble for violating MLS contract rules.
But, we'll see if they'll actually get punished.

Sheffield United relegated. Such a drop-off from last season.

I'd say we can define today like this;
Various European Clubs: We'd like to do a European Super League
Pretty much every European FA and UEFA:

UEFA pandered to the big clubs by abolishing the decades established Cup Winners Cup, turning the European Cup into the grotesque Champions League, then bloating the UEFA Cup into the awful Europa League, and it still wasn't enough. A super league is the death of European football.

I do find the irony of Masters and Hoffman stopping the Saudi Newcastle takeover partly to appease the big six, only to go and do this to them.

It’s sad really, it’s pure greed on the part of the owners. Ask the fans of any of these breakaway clubs what they think and the vast majority of them would be against the plan. I do like seeing UEFA and FIFA sweat though.

Capitalism continues to ruin football. All I can say is that Spurs should be happy this is happening now and not back in the mid 00's when they were a medicore mid-table side or in 2001 when Athletico Madrid were in tier 2 of Spain because neither would be included in this. This is going to f*** over every other club not involved. A closed league system is a terrible idea.

It's beyond comprehension, really. I've been a fan of one of the six clubs for over two decades (although I fell out with football some years ago owing amongst other things to the malevolent influence of money) but I think that might be it for me.
