I’m not usually a fan of posting unconfirmed reports but apparently Spurs have just sacked Mourinho.
BBC are now confirming it.

How can they sack Jose when he just got them qualified to the European super League?

I hope UEFA and FIFA ado stick to their guns about banning players from playing for their countries even if it’s a bit of a harsh move because it might focus the minds of players. I’d consider myself a lapsed man United fan but I never really liked the glazers taking over. It’s a bit of a joke that Tottenham are in considering JFK was alive and well the last time they won the league tittle. You know something is wrong when United and Liverpool fans seem in lock step with this.

Tbh, the players need to realise the power they hold in this situation. If the Messi's, Ronaldo's, Salah's, Pogba's etc of the world simply said 'we're not playing in that league' then it immediately loses 75% of its appeal. Who wants to watch Liverpool vs Barcelona without any of the players that make those teams? They can't even be contractually obligated to play in such a league, since it didn't even exist before yesterday.
A farce all round.

UEFA cannot ban guys like Messi, Pulisic, Son, Mane, Saleh ect I don't think because they are not internationals of UEFA teams. And FIFA is all about the dollar bill so I do think FIFA will tell UEFA they cannot ban players from the national team. That would probably come down to those countries' federations

If they haven't they should. Very disappointed in the fact players of these clubs have been very quiet on this issue. Most of these guys spend loads of their time on Twitter and yet not ONE comment from a current player of these clubs?! I suppose they will make millions more than they already do, so f*** everyone else.

But yeah, it's gonna take the big guns coming out against this for it to crumble. That and FIFA banning players from the World Cup.

Below is a quote from Andrea Agnelli, the present of Juventus regarding Atlanta in March 2020 (who beat Juve this weekend and are on course to qualify again for the champions league).
"I have great respect for what Atlanata are doing, but without any international history, and with a great sporting performance, they had direct access to the Champions League. Then, think about Roma, who have contributed in recent years to maintaining Italy's [UEFA coefficient] ranking, which had one bad season and are out, with all the consequences that brings on an economic level. We need to protect investments"
Here Agnelli makes clear that continental competitions should purely be for 'big clubs' specifically teams with considerable budgets and economic power. This horrendous idea for a Super League is the direct result of this thinking. He specifically states that sporting achievement, ina sport, should be secondary to financial needs.

RB Leipzig confirmed they won't join. Bayern and Dortmund share the same sentiment, so they're out too.

He’s taking as if Roma will never get back into Europe. I assume Leicester city would the English equivalent of Atalanta in that the bigger teams don’t believe that any “lesser teams” should get into Europe. I hope it backfires royally on them.
