So who wins promotion to the Premier League from the playoffs this season? I tipped Brentford to go up at the start of the season.

martyn waghorn of derby had a busy afternoon didn't he?
not only scoring two and setting up the third but also he and the post had a little dance together ...
GOOD GOD!!!
i have never seen a player collide with the post like that! a FULL SOMERSAULT!
hell of a game to, along with the others at the bottom, at least wycombe went down beating middlesbrough!
league two finished with a heck of a set of results, all top TEN clubs either won of drew
tomorrow it's league one finish ... and the second scottish cup semi final, as hibernian won 2-0 over dundee united in the first one
... sunday ...
THE BATTLE OF THE SAINTS!!!

desperate st johnstone defending but they hold on to reach the scottish cup final, beating st mirren by two goals to one! unlucky for the buddies, some GREAT chances and some GREAT saves by our goalie, but two quick and devastating goals in the middle of the second half cost us!
so it's HIBERNIAN v ST JOHNSTONE in the scottish cup final
CUP DOUBLE ANYONE

F’ing Everton…… lose to Villa at home, but then take all 3 points against a West Ham team playing for the UCL. When Everton miss Europe, they can thank their horrific home form for it.

I predicted Norwich, Bournemouth & Brentford for promotion at the start of the season. So Bournemouth or Brentford for me. I think Bournemouth will beat Brentford over 2 legs just have a feeling. Think Barnsley will beat Swansea so it will be a Bournemouth v Barnsley final.

Another example of "MLS team embraces generic boringness" has happened as the Columbus Crew SC is now just Columbus SC.

Bolton officially secured promotion to League One on Saturday. Hopefully, this means things are finally looking upwards for the Trotters.

I'm pulling for Brentford or Barnsley to win promotion to the PL. I always like to see "new blood". I know Brentford has never been in the PL (or the first division since the '40s I think)... not sure about Barnsley.

But yeah, I'm surprised teams haven't sold their branding to corporate sponsors.

That's pretty much Red Bull's thing: Genuinely surprised they haven't managed to acquire an English team, though they'd probably have little hope of changing a team's name to incorporate the company name.

Sad to see how far they fell considering what a good side they were in the mid to late 2000’s. They were Arsenal’s bogey team for years I hated playing them. Ah, the days when the team had the likes of Jay-Jay Okocha, Youri Djorkaeff, Iván Campo, Stelios Giannakopoulos, Gary Speed, Jussi Jääskeläinen, etc....the team had so much talent back then, plus they had an amazing manager in Sam Allardyce. Bolton in the 2000s were an exciting team to watch.
I'm really hoping this marks the turning point for the team going forward, because from the 2011/2012 season up to this point, it's been one hell of a rollercoaster for this team. I have to say though, I'm liking Sharon Brittan as the chairperson. She's done a fine job thus far imo.
