Also, that means don't be surprised if we get good ol' "Don't let Velveteen Dream near playgrounds" teasing from commentary one day.

Every week WWE advertises a match or Network product that I would like to watch, or something happens that I would like to see.
Then they find new lows to sink to, and I am even more delighted I stopped watching.

Then they find new lows to sink to, and I am even more delighted I stopped watching. Like, it’s the most minor point of all this but I said this before, I’d love to watch WWE weekly again. I have a lot of friends in the business that watch it, support people they know on the roster or the shows in general and as said a billion times, their roster is the best on paper it ever has been. But even ignoring their problems with how they book talent, there’s just so much “We know the media won’t actually get on us so we have the license to do whatever we want” aura around everything business wise that...I just can’t, man. This shit doesn’t help and it’s one of the things they don’t have to do. If you absolutely must have Matt Riddle wrestle, just book a different damn story. It’s really not hard to just not make people find out about the accusations.

I don't care that she wasn't named, this is pretty messed up. She accuses Matt Riddle of raping her, he denies it but admits to the affair. WWE then uses the affair part to further one of their own storylines. Even if you don't believe her, this is still f***ed up. Then again, this is the same company that’s trotting out Velveteen Dream and Austin Theory on NXT as if the allegations against them never happened. And hired two guys with allegations against them

Would they dare do that with Velveteen Dream? His main roster debut angle is Velveteen Dream suggestively texting Dominick for weeks, leading to a feud with Rey. Wouldn't work. Dominik's 23 years old, Dream would have zero interest in him.
