...the only way this could be any more  Dixie Carter's TNA-tastic is if Vince filmed the call and broadcast it on RAW. Also, I'm betting someone impacted by this, or maybe more than one, were quick to out this bs to the dirt sheets. Yeah this 100% reads to me as something that couldn't have spread as fast as it did without someone quite pissed about it droppoing dime to every outlet they could think of.  |

These guys and ladies as a group should really band together and legally challenge the whole independent contractor thing. If they are employees treat them as such. Otherwise, stay the f*** out of their non-contracted business.

I would love if what made wrestlers Unionize is video games  A wrestler is killed live on PPV. No reaction at all. Most of the roster is more or less held hostage for a short time by a notorious authoritarian regime. A few angry tweets. Video game channels threatened. START THE RIOT!!! It's really a crummy lesson in how money trumps morality at all turns in this wonderful world. |

I honestly think its pretty dickish to ask a wrestler this, what do they want them to say? Its a lose-lose for them. If you really want to ask someone ask Triple H or Vince. I mean, it’s not if you hear from every other sports team or entertainment medium that they support their talent in this ways. Of course you’re going to think that it’s the norm for cars and such to be provided. I legit dont think she asked out of malice either She looks legit surprised about it |

Like, why wouldn’t she be surprised to hear that there’s a group of people who don’t have any of that for no real good reason? |

Forgive me if I'm wrong but Vince won't make a penny out of this as the effected talent will likely quit streaming rather than sign rights over to WWE. If anything he's losing money because of non fans who might stumble across the streams or check out a friends recommendation and then go on to become WWE fans now vanish.

Is Woods here mentioned because of upupdowndown? That's afaik owned by wwe, so I strongly assume everything stays the same for that channel - wwe gets already their money there.
And I would guess that's also the real motive, several wrestlers doing side hustle without wwe taking a big cut of it. You know, as if they would be independent contractors. The ones that unlike Woods truly own themselves their channel may be forced to hand it over and cooperate as a wwe channel. And about Cameo, wwe is also trying to grab that business, I heard they're or plan to sell virtual axxess.
