Creed ain’t going to stand for this shit I honestly believe he could be a guy that might tell WWE (in a professional manner, of course) to get f’ing bent.

WWE owns the podcast, cameo, wouldn't be surprised if they don't already own up up down down too

Yeah, I'd love to see guys like Creed and AJ Styles (twilight of his career, legacy already cemented, what can WWE really do to him?) stand up for those lower on the card that can't.

The irony of them having a Takeover event this weekend is not lost on me.

Claudio is streaming some Among Us at the moment (receiving a metric ton of subs from people). Creed was invited but hasn't shown up at the moment. Adam Cole, BayBee, is there though, CHUGSing along
Seems to be ignoring any questions about the announcement to focus on having fun playing a game. A shocking concept, I'm sure.

Things really are changing. WWE hasn't forced someone to Twitch since Goldust.

It's not a surprise that this would be the issue people might finally bring a fight over. It's a lot bigger than playing video games in practical terms, and represents the one avenue through which a WWE run as a platform can do someone a lot of good suddenly becoming a means by which WWE can claim full ownership and control. If WWE owns your twitch account, that's likely to be something they hold onto when you leave, which means you'd have to start from zero on that if you do leave. It's an overreach onto stuff the company has no legitimate claim over.

I highly anticipate Brock creating a Twitch out of nowhere where he just plays Solitaire and Minesweeper...for the pure enjoyment of shitting on Vince all over again. Bork is the hero we need and he knows it. Imagine if Brock was good at Minecraft... That would actually create a new boom period

So if a huge chunk of talent refuses to comply, does vince just fire all of them?
He did get rid of 20 people a while back, but they were people who weren't really doing anything. It'll be a different challenge if he tries to fire 20 people who are involved in storylines. Especially if they are in a top position of the card.

Um... If there was ANY facade that the "independent contractor" was bs all along, this just puts down and Vince knows no one will do anything about it. To have an idea the ONLY people that are obligated to stream under contract are the girls and gal that work as VTubers for some japanese companies.

I'd say refuse to turn the account or the money over to WWE and dare them to take legal action over it. They don't want this bullshit seeing a courtroom. These were my thoughts exactly. Especially at the continuing to work with 3rd parties could result in fines or terminations. Someone has to have the funds to stand up to the bully that is Vince/WWE. Call their bluff. Take the fines. See what happen when the negative press starts rolling in on the situation. Chances are Vince will get out of this clean as a whistle as he's done his entire life, but I want someone to challenge him on this one.

Like I said before, the precedence has been set by Ultimate Warrior. Just revisiting the litigation over the years between the two parties and each time I am firmly camp Warrior. Warrior hits out at every little bullshit McMahon plays babyfacevheel.substack.com/p/the-ultimate-reconciliation-an-insideMcDewitt normally wins by dragging the case on so that the other party loses money and cannot afford to fight on. Warrior staked his earnings on it (millions in lawyers fee) and beat them at their game. I'm sure an Austin Creed or someone established can do the same.

With Andrew Yang putting it out there that this is a thing, a) there go any future talents who might otherwise be aiming for WWE; b) those inside WWE might feel more empowered to get out or not re-sign; c) those with the money and the pull inside the company can use their contract status to force more blanket changes on behalf of the whole roster. This isn't Hogan's WWE anymore where giving "First among equals" status and playing sides against one another can keep Vince on top. Vince can try to skim all the money he can from wherever; but he doesn't have a show if he doesn't have a roster people want to watch.

Michael Cole: Here comes Xavier Woods of the New Day. This guy loves to have fun!
Renee Young: It's too bad he loses half his income every time he tries to have any.
Cole: Damnit Renee, get out of here! You don't work here anymore!
Renee: Relax Cole, I'm just making a Cameo. And I don't even have to give half the proceeds to Vince! Toodles~!
