Sad part is that if Vince could legally do this, he probably would unfortunately.

Don't watch. Don't condone. Hound them. Yang is already up the WWE's ass as it is, keep the pressure on them. I have not given the WWE any money or viewership beyond the occasional youtube clip in years. If enough do the same, Vince will either learn a lesson or lose a lot of money. And that's probably why nothing will ever change, at least not until Vince croaks or is otherwise forced to step away from the company. People will complain and protest as much as they want, but it's completely hollow when they're still watching the product and giving Vince their money. Gotta put your money where your mouth is.

It was habit watching for me for years (as in, I only watched it out of habit because the product was awful by that point) until they became a Saudi propaganda tool. Turns out Vince showing his hand at being outright evil is a hell of a motivator to break that habit, even if it meant boycotting NXT which was actually entertaining more times than not.

It's been mentioned before I think but it's true.
If Britt Baker went to WWE Vince would want a cut of her Dentist money, I'm surprised he never went after Jericho for any podcast or Fozzy money either.
He's just a greedy out of touch horrible old man.
Next time WWE release a video of Vince teaching someone how to take a bump, or Vince doing a silly dance or whatever don't fall for it.

Jericho has leverage in his negotiations with Vince so even suggesting taking money from his outside ventures would never be considered. If you're a name, you can say no to them, and that's what this is about, it's to stop people building their personal brands to the point they can say no.

People don’t have to be pure evil or pure good. They don't, but there is a power in the 'crazy ol' Vince' stories and the way they make people overlook a vast disparity of scale. A story about Vince teaching Kelly Kelly to dance or something makes the rounds and people call it a 'reason to not hate the guy' when the reasons to hate the guy involve state propaganda shows for a murderous regime. Yes, Vince is a complicated person who can't easily be written down as the embodiment of man's ills like a Saturday morning cartoon villain, but the bad things he's done run a lot deeper than the average person's failings. These stories have become PR for a man who has done a lot of very bad things, and his complexities should not become tempering factors against the idea that he's doing those bad things. They might be real but they're also propaganda, and in a situation like this it feels important to call them out as such

I assume people are referencing the Vince-Gronk thing showing him demonstrate the fall (which was just a cut from the WWE 24 documentary) but I don’t see WWE sending out tons of crazy old Vince stories, unless I’m forgetting/mistaken. And again, saying that you’re not going to “fall” for these stories about Vince just makes it seem that people aren’t willing to accept that he may have both good traits and bad, with the bad getting most of the press.

I think last night showed why Vince won't change one iota of what he's doing. People still watched the product, and had it trending. The same people who knows he's becoming a modern day plantation owner with the 'E.. so what's the real solution here??
Types like Austin Creed and Big E are already bought, so they CANT help with the fight, and no one else has that level of cache to fight back, save maybe Paige and AJ (who's a loyal lapdog so I expect jacks hit from him).

And again, saying that you’re not going to “fall” for these stories about Vince just makes it seem that people aren’t willing to accept that he may have both good traits and bad, with the bad getting most of the press. I'm not saying it's coming out as explicit, company-fed material existing solely to make people like Vince, the word there wasn't meant to be taken that literally. It's that the effect is like propaganda. Nobody is denying that Vince has good traits, it's that him being a complicated person doesn't mean shit when he's doing so many bad things. Him being a good grandfather or an eccentric boss stops mattering in the face of things like this. A lot of wrestling fans have a way of buying into a mythology about the man that shields him; fans booing the shit out of Roman but then popping hard once Vince's music hits, even though everything they dislike about Roman came from Vince. There's a compartmentalized schism in two different Vince McMahons, when they are in fact one person. A complicated person, yes. A person with good and bad, yes. But a person whose bad reaches a depth that deserves to be criticized. I don't know how you think the sentiment comes off that the people who don't want to see the good in a man who ran a state propaganda show for the Saudis a month after they murdered an American journalist, who has cut scores of jobs while posting record profits exceeding all projections, is harbouring accused rapists and predators while ignoring those accusations entirely, and who is currently embroiled in an effort to make his wrestlers with second jobs hand those jobs over to him for his own benefit. But from this side of things, I'm seeing someone who has very much bought into the very thing spagett and I are talking about. Someone doesn't need to be the incarnation of evil to be a bad person on the whole and you don't need to concede that somebody isn't Double Hitler just because they have an endearing side to them. The propaganda is coming from inside the house.

Vince has some good traits, sure. He's still an objectively awful human being. I don't care if he bought his mom a tennis court or called Jeff Jarrett after his wife died when he's also spent decades building an empire out of people's bodies, treats everyone on his payroll like his personal property, and happily does business with murderous tyrants.

This is by and large what it's always been about, at least for the last 10 or so years. They do not like wrestlers having leverage with them, they don't like guys having choices, that is why they've gone to the brand over talent marketing etc.
