All these guys and gals are getting significantly less money with no attendance revenue. Why not just hold off on this until after the pandemic. I am guessing the extra revenue WWE is getting from this is probably less than what they spend on PR. Control. The past two decades have been about control, about only letting handpicked guys rise to the top and being able to limit how over talent become to stop them leaving like Rock and Austin. If the control twitch and other outlets, they'll be able to limit the streaming and promotion of guys getting too big without permission, and stop them taking their WWE controlled account with them when they leave.

So with current events being what they are is WWE going to backtrack on things to avoid scrutiny into their practices or has that ship sailed?

If Andrew Yang finds himself in a new job come January, things could get quite interesting indeed.

I get she's in the company and doesn't want to lose her spot but F*** me, this is a horrendous response.

"Cancel culture" as a phrase really means literally nothing now doesn't it.

"Cancel culture" as a phrase really means literally nothing now doesn't it. Once you throw that bullshit term in the mix it's what about 3/4 of the discussions going to turn into instead of what matters. I mean it doesn't apply whatsoever to anything anybody has been talking about but fair enough to her for trying. as long as WWE keeps getting marks to take the heat for them they're going to be able to treat people like shit for a very long time

I don’t even get how “cancel culture” would apply in this context.

Yes it is, more when it not a rumor when you see AJ Styles and again Zelina and Black having to shut down there twitch and they clearly made it that it was the WWE that making them doing it and not anything else. Paige made ut the most clear. Nots not a rumor when it coming out the months of employees.

Paige outright acknowledged it on her stream and mentioned that she was in contact with a union lawyer. Not a rumor.
Also, the following terms can f*** right off starting January 20th; cancel culture, fake news, and SJW.

Paige outright acknowledged it on her stream and mentioned that she was in contact with a union lawyer. Not a rumor. That's the absurd thing about Bliss' statement. Who does she think she's fooling? Even her fellow "independent contractors" who've abided by the new rules have acknowledged it. Vince's boots won't lick themselves, I guess.

And like so many others who've kissed the boot, she'll change her tune the SECOND she's yesterdays toy and deemed surplus to requirements. 'I saw the Face Eating Leopard wrestling federation eat the faces of countless co-workers, but I never thought they'd eat my face!'

I’d imagine a lot of the talent prefer to be labeled independent contractors and not employees. There would likely be a significant decrease in pay if they were, as well as less business expense tax deductions that can be taken by the wrestlers.

I think the funniest part is that everyone, EVERYONE, is on the side of the streamers, and she's trying to drag the critics for trying to cancel WHO exactly?! WWE, the greedy assholes who are behind all of this?!
Man, f*** her.
