I hate the term cancel culture and I thought Alexa was better then to use that term She is not, and I'm not surprised this happened. I really do hope Andrew Yang and other politicians helps put a foot down on this, so no more wrestlers feel the need to bootlick. What probably doesn't help is there's hardly ever been a time when Bliss hasn't been pushed in WWE, so she feels bulletproof.

I've usually praised Alexa for being a positive role model for young girls, especially given her history with overcoming eating disorders. But she sounds like a right idiot here.

She also came into wrestling when she joined the WWE and this might be her first like big corporate job... since before that she was a bodybuilder, and likely doesn't know anything other than the WWE way of doing things. But yeah... she has no idea what she's talking about here...

In regards to Bliss saying WWE took care of her after the concussions, they didn't handle Kairi Sane too well with those. I've usually praised Alexa for being a positive role model for young girls, especially given her history with overcoming eating disorders. But she sounds like a right idiot here. Strowman was a bad influence.

Seems like they’ve taken care of her as well, as she is working for them in an office/ambassador role now.

The TLC tag match situation from last year and booking her against Nia even after she was reckless with Sane previously.

And like so many others who've kissed the boot, she'll change her tune the SECOND she's yesterdays toy and deemed surplus to requirements. 'I saw the Face Eating Leopard wrestling federation eat the faces of countless co-workers, but I never thought they'd eat my face!' King from Tekken has taken his heel turn too far, I see...

Alexa usually comes off as a very nice and likable person, but what an idiotic response.

Unfortunately when it comes to certain talent fighting back to try and start a Union and try and make things right, other wrestlers within the company are gonna show their hands and show how f***ing horrendous their views are whether they believe them or just wanna play company man/woman and defend them till the end, no matter how bad it makes them look or if it makes them lose fans
I'd hate to see Alexa go down that path but it doesn't shock me with how hard she's always been pushed there

I don't think there's anything wrong with what she said. She's talking about being looked after while suffering injuries.

No one is criticising her for saying the company looked after her after she got hurt (although to me that's a bare minimum). There's no reason for her to say anything about a "cancel culture" which doesn't even mean anything at this point. No one's trying to cancel WWE. People just want to see things get better.

To paraphrase Chris Rock: You're supposed to be, you dumb motherf***er! What kind of ignorant shit is that? "I was taken care of when I was injured." What do they want, a cookie?! You're supposed to be looked after, you low-expectation-having motherf***er!

I think what they were trying to say is that Alexa saying the WWE took care of her after her injuries shouldn't be this huge accomplishment on their part. The very least they should do as a company is make sure she's taken care of if she's injured in their ring. Basically, her expectations for the company are incredibly low considering her comment and that could be, but not necessarily, an indication that she's going out of her way to defend the company. The issue with that mindset is, we know that there have been pretty inhuman practices by the WWE, and wrestlers shouldn't feel the need to stick their necks out like that when these issues are open secrets. It reeks of blind loyalty, which a lot of people feel shouldn't be given to the WWE when the company has done a lot in it's existence to downsize and belittle its employees if it is convenient to them.

It’d be like if someone came out and said “Well, they pay us and I’m grateful for that”. Of course they should be paying you, that’s not a high barrier to overcome.
