They'll probably have some new lame WWE version of Twitch or Cameo that they've developed and they'll make all the talent use that. It'll flop as almost everything Vince tries out always does, remember Tout?, and all this will achieve is making the talent even more miserable working for a truly horrible person in Vince Mcmahon. The Tout era of WWE was a special brand of dire programming.

I've seen some people arguing that WWE has the right to do this. But even if that's the case, why? I legitimately don't understand their cost benefit analysis here. If you're pissed about what people do on their streams, address it with them. If people want to speak their mind, they don't need Twitch to do it. Anybody arguing that WWE has the right to do this are not only wrong but they're also indicating that they'd be ok with some horrible rules and regulations. Thankfully nobody here (not even one person) has said it's a smart move, we're better than that. To these talent though, just, what? I can't even imagine working at a place that says "hey man when you clock out you can't stream and talk to people" because that's crazy. Vince wants them to have a damn WWE logo tattooed on their forehead and shit. If Vince ever watched Logan's Run, he'd probably wish he could install one of those blinking red lights in his wrestlers' hands.

As someone else pointed out, WWE can tell you to not interact with fans via video game streaming outside of work but they can’t tell people to stop being jackasses to people on social media and making the company look bad in that regard?
Like...how does that work?!

Some people get way too pedantically caught up on what the system enables people to do as if it's a moral imperative in and of itself, and forget any real shred of decency or even logical reasons to follow through on a course of action. This is a stupid, insane thing to do all around, but because someone in power is able to do something, it's therefore acceptable. This extends out pretty far past wrestling, and is universally just the worst thing.

None of this crap is going to stop until the roster stop being a bunch of wieners. They need to collectively walk. They won't, though. They'll just bend over and take it and start prepping their next "Vince is such an awesome guy" speech for a Network special. Aye, we all hear this talk about guys being upset and angry with how they do things, but they just grin and take it and shill WWE like its the most awesome place to work at.
Unless they finally do something and stand up to Vince and them, they will continue to find ways to screw them over

During the call, McMahon said that WWE owns the real names of talent, not just their character names. -wrestlinginc.com I haven't read the entire thread but..... has Vince finally gone senile? You can't own their real names can you?

Paige saying "f*** that shit Vince." Good. We need more to say this. Fight back. There are gonna be way more than just Paige who respond to this I feel whether publicly or privately. Vince is gonna realize he f***ed up big time here, because he is completely inept at reading a room.

I was wondering why Alexa deleted her Cameo. This is f***ing stupid.
EDIT: I looked it up and it's still there, she's just going by Lexi Kaufman and not Lexi "Alexa Bliss" Kaufman now.

I had a thought about this and if it's what ends up happening, then it's kind of a sinister genius. Vince lays down this edict knowing it will cause uproar among the roster. This will obviously be a hot button topic that will lead to meetings next week at Raw and Smackdown and NXT between management and talent. The blowback online has been big already, if not from the talent, at least from fans. What if this was Vince's plan all along? So now when Monday comes along and these meetings happen, and Vince agrees to roll back some of the demands. So talent can still do Cameo and Twitch and Youtube and all that stuff, but they can't stream with someone not wrestling for the company anymore or have to make sure the guest is someone approved by WWE(which is likely what Vince ACTUALLY wants) and that they not say anything that makes them or WWE look bad(which are very common demands in these situations). It's a compromise that Vince manipulates. Talent get to keep doing their thing and Vince gets to look like an understanding boss.

Prediction: this is being overblown and will probably just apply to Cameo because WWE has their own version of it in development.

WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTE f*** This is why Vince helps people, because he wants people to depend on him and look up to him, that is obvious from his manipulative history. And I bet this decision is the same.Vince doesnt want them thinking they can make money somewhere else.

Paige kicking off is hilarious considering shes been paid for like 2 years for doing nothing. I completely agree with her though.
