I’m pretty interested to see how this feud pans out. This is a pretty big step up for Jey but working with Roman will only be a good thing and I’m sure they will make Jey look like a threat. The inevitable beat down on Jey will be glorious.

Honest question, how many times has anyone...outside of Jannetty...been the “Jannetty?” We always do this and throw that term around and I feel like it’s not really a thing. Most tag teams that split up either end up back together, or both fade into obscurity, or both do kind of ok. I can’t think of many teams in the last 20 years where someone did WAY better than their partner after a split. I guess Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas?

Man, when Jey was out, they sidelined Jimmy. Jimmy gets hurt, Jey gets a main event program with Roman

Did not Charlie go crazy during whatever that ROH retirement speech thing was? I don't remember anything about it anymore, but it was weird...

Did Jimmy win the Royaliest of Rumbles last year?
No, he did not. Thus, he’s the Jannetty.

Given how many DUIs these two clowns have they're more like the Rockers than we might want to admit.
Call me when one of them asks Facebook whether he can be horny on main for his daughtergirlfriend.

Not the last 20 years, but one I often think of is Fatu and Samu. Fatu always seemed to be slightly favoured, even during the Headshrinkers run. He got a random WWF Championship match against Bret Hart and made the final four of the 1994 Rumble. Obviously he then took a bit of a rocky road to the eventual relative success of Rikishi. Samu just vanished in terms of WWE lore, except for that weird Samoan Gangster Party angle that went nowhere.

What if they both become famous of their singles careers now later in their careers? Both having world title runs.
