Houston needs to move on from Bill O'Brien, like yesterday.
Aside from beating NE last season, their record in prime time/big games stinks. As GM, he traded away a top 3 receiver because......reasons

So you all talked shit on Ray Lewis for 15 years? Yes, and rightfully so. By the same vein, as a Patriots fan, I rightfully have to hear about Hernandez. It happens.

This didn’t feel right. Hopefully as the season moves along the vibe comes back Yeah, I don’t know if it was lack of crowd or no preseason, but that seemed more like a half-assed exhibition game than anything, to me at least.

Watching this game (and the college football that I’ve seen over the last few weeks) reminds me how intensely weird Sunday’s Patriots game is going to be with zero fans in the stands. I’ve grown accustomed to NBA games with virtual fans and baseball and hockey games with empty stands, but no sport relies on crowd interaction quite like football, so it’ll be extremely challenging to get past how unusual it’ll be to see 68,000 empty seats in Gillette Stadium on Sunday. It’s cool, I still haven’t heard “WAP” and only just recently found out who Megan Thee Stallion is, so I’m right there with you. I've only heard WAP from people reading a little bit of the lyrics and honestly since hip hop is really not my thing, I have zero interest in listening to the actual song. The closest I've come to hearing WAP is hearing a remix of Ben Shapiro reading the lyrics to the song and it was easily one of the funniest things I've heard in some time.

Or....it was a typical Houston game against a serious opponent? They routinely shit the bed in big games because the Notorious BoB never has them properly prepared.

So Kansas City decided to spot Houston only 7 points before completely destroying them this time?
That's harsh.
I mean, it was still enjoyable to watch, because Mahomes is a treat.

Props to them for beating NE at home last year on SNF. Outside of that anomaly, When the lights are on them, Houston pisses their pants while being thoroughly out coached and woefully under prepared. And now that jackass has proven himself to be a lousy GM.

I will stick to the statement I have been saying the last two years, Bill O Brien is holding down Deshaun Watson and Watson greatness is the only reason he still has a job. Watson should be much more despite him already being good but until they get rid of Bill, they will keep holding him back

He has to really love his teammates and the city to agree to an extension. I won't lie, as a Pats fan, I was dreaming of him coming here. I LOVE his game.

Bill O’Brien is one of the worst coaches and executives that I’ve ever seen. His team wins on talent in spite of him,

There is a good team there and as a QB he makes people better but that coach is a bum and the fact he is GM too is a compounded issue

He and Hopkins were deadly together. The fact he shipped him out for next to nothing is terrible.

I was looking over the week 1 betting lines. And like others have said, when you get to Eagles vs. Football Team, it’s impossible not to lol.

Houston is a mess and there won't be anything that justifies that trade unless Hopkins just falls off a cliff in Arizona, even then, nothing about it truly makes sense. David Johnson actually put together a productive game yesterday but the rest of the team just blew a massive load. A lot of moments became apparent where you miss a guy like Hopkins with some key drops and some guys like Cobb being downright invisible for most of the game.
Watson is a great talent and his prime years are gonna be wasted if they keep this delusion that Bill O'Brian is the answer.

I shall no longer mock Eagles fans for being jerkasses and booing Santa. Chiefs fans now top the shitty fans charts for booing a god damned moment of unity.

I shall no longer mock Eagles fans for throwing batteries and booing Santa. Chiefs fans now top the shitty fans charts for booing a god damned moment of unity. As much as I’d love to kick down at the Chiefs for anything, you damn well know every stadium in the country that has fans would be doing the same thing. It’s sad, it’s fxxxing pathetic, but it’s true.

Without getting too into the grey of the rules here, yes, as much as some people may want to present Unity and acts of change and such, there is a large portion of the US that does not see it that way, and it does not shock me and will not shock me if there are boos every game that is attempted. Far as I know though this was only an idea between these teams for this game. No clue if it'll expand beyond that.
