Also, barely familiar with the WWE at this point, but apparently Dio Maddin is also a VTuber now. Dio was a huge (literally and figuratively) nerd and weeb already

Anyway, it's a couple months old, but still gold: Calli screaming is hilarious.

So apparently Capcom loosened their restrictions and are allowing Hololive/Holostars talent to stream their games, but with one weird caveat: they are not allowed to show the ending of whatever game they're streaming including games dating back to the NES era, this was made clear when a member of Holostars got into a little bit of trouble when he (gasp) showed the ending of Mega Man 2 on his stream.
Yeah I can understand if was a new game or something, but a game that is almost 35 years old? I guess Capcom's gotta Capcom.

As I recall, Suzuhara Lulu streamed Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 but did not stream the last part of the game. Yakuza 7 seems to be okay, as another Nijisanji member streamed it all the way to the end. And of course, there was that incident in Hololive where Mio got suspended by youtube due to her stream of Capcom's Ghost Trick months ago, which led to the privating or in some case deletion of many Hololiver streams.

Great O Khan renamed his move. To honor the initial recipient of the move as well, his new move is now, roughly translated, the Oozora Subaru Sheep Killer.

Dear Mr. Tony Khan if you happen to be lurking in these forums I beg you the please sign this talent to AEW at your earliest convivence (Be it per appearance or full time.) Why? Because I simply want to hear any member of your crack commentary team (Be it Excalibur, Schiavone, Tazz, Wight or even Good Ol JR) call out: The Oozora Subaru Sheep Killer on any of your fine programs. If that should occur I will buy every single PPV from now on. I'm sure he would be a great addition to the roster and best of all he shares a surname with you. Thank You: A Fan.

Listening to the NJPW announce team call the move (before the name was modified with Watame in mind): twitter.com/njpwworld/status/1373511710510702593?s=20Yeah. Hearing the name of the move on AEW would be amazing. I mean, hell, Oozora Subaru Hitsujigoroshi already has a nice ring to it.

Anime puts Pekora as a (sorta) background character. Pekora sees it.

From Nijisanji's Aiba Uiha's 3d debut yesterday. The 3d debuts from Nijisanji always looks pretty dang swell. I mean the skirt defying physics is a different matter, but the 3d tracking thingamabob is really nice.

I'm familiar with VTubers, but never actually took the time to look into the content. I suppose it's worth taking a gander and giving it a chance.

Lots of em, especially with the two big companies, hololive and Nijisanji. 'course, hololive EN can be an easy gateway since VTubers use English. To a lesser extent, hololive Indonesia also uses English a fair amount, as is Hana Macchia from Nijisanji's Indonesia branch. Also the ones from VShoujo are worth a look.

Yeah, starting off with translated clips is what I'm aiming for anyhow. Also nice that they have a gateway for the English audience too.

Saw some clips of Oozora Subaru, and the first one that caught my eye was the one where she did a wrestling move. As it turns out, that's where Great-O-Khan got his new move from.
I saw him do the move, but I wasn't aware that's where it originated from. That's pretty neat!
I also saw her playthrough of Undertale. From what I've seen so far, I like her. She's got a great personality and I enjoy her enthusiasm. You can tell she's really into it.

Netflix Japan wants in on the action, as they will debut a VTuber on their own on youtube on the 27th this month. Corporate Vtubers are a pretty common occurrence, my brother tells me the one promoting Suntory Beverages is a pretty good singer.

Fun fact, used one of her cover songs as my first entry in the FAN Idol games in the forum games section. Said song:

Welp, looks like I've gone down the VTuber rabbit hole too. Watching Oozora Subaru's videos and witnessing the sheer enthusiasm, bright personality, and an upbeat attitude towards things in general got me into her channel. Also, she gets a major thumbs up for being a Marvel Cinematics fan.
I also briefly checked out Gawr Gura. She's another good one from the looks of it, though the lack of math skills is strong with this one. Despite that however, I've noticed she's very quick witted. Eh, I suppose I can let the math thing slide, even though it would normally tick me as a math nerd. =P
Any others worth checking out btw?

From Hololive, Fubuki might be good. She's also a big fan of Marvel. Few clips out there of her watching the Avengers. Korone might be worth a shot if you like energetic streams, and she plays a fair amount of retro games.
Gonna find some good Nijisanji clips to post here later, thinking about it.

Always appreciate those who are into retro games. I'll definitely give Korone a shot later on when I get the chance to kick back and relax.
