All these posts in and no mention of Batista breaking the internet by entering with a basketball?

Kennedy should have been fired after this. He was explicitly told to do anything but that, but he's a dumb f*** and did that. I've seen this referenced before and I still don't get it. So what's the issue? Orton specifically told him not to do a back suplex because of his shoulder issues. Kennedy was on very thin ice already because everyone else at the top of the card didn't want to work with him. Also you don't do a spot that you're asked not to do, that's wrestling 101.

Supposedly, this was also the straw that broke the camel's back because a lot of people refused to work with him.

The only redeeming feature of this show was FAN crapping itself senseless when Batista came out with a basketball...

I mean Orton clearly jumps on that suplex, and Anderson isn't that strong. So if Orton told him not to do it he must've changed his mind.

As a huge Kennedy mark back in the day this night kind of broke my heart. That was it as far as Anderson went.

Kennedy Kennedy looks like someone put Kevin Nash in a dryer in that photo.
No kidding- I forgot that was the match that Orton got pissed about & I even forgot more that he was ever a babyface in WWE.

Lol Enos sounds like Penus it’s so funny because Penis are funny #lol Funny to 12 year old boys and 70 year old wrestling promoters. Honestly I hated this Raw because it positioned the f'n Lakers as the good guys.

It’s hard to not flip over when the guy over rotates you onto the top of the shoulder. Orton obviously wanted to land flat to avoid bumping on a bum shoulder but Kennedy twisted it for no good reason.

I mean it looks like Orton flat throws a punch at him instead of selling the move immediately afterwards. that's not something a wrestler generally does when they are happy with what just happened.

Oh yeah, Randy’s pissed. I don’t think he was trying to deck him or anything. Just a frustrated “don’t wanna yell f***” motion. Lol

Lol yeah, saying punching him is probably not accurate as it definitely wasn't like he swung for his head... but he was clearly pissed off and not in a "I'm selling" way.

I’m sorry but exactly what’s wrong with this suplex? Orrin clearly jumps for it so it’s not unexpected in any way. The landing wasn’t perfect but I’ve seen far far worse landings on that type of suplex before

Personally, I've always suspected it was Orton calling a spot he shouldn't have because of the injury, then blaming Anderson when he got to the back.

It amazes me how people as rich as Vince McMahon are as insecure and as petty as they are.

I was at this show. Only things I remember about it was the Kennedy thing and being offered(and buying)super cheap tickets for Smackdown the next night. You're telling me you don't remember Vince going "YOU'RE AN EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENOS!" and then saying "You know what rhymes with Enos..."
