A guy winning a world championship to some background music and commentators trying to sell the moment makes the entire moment feel small af, and it's one of the most depressing things I've ever seen in professional wrestling.
I hope the pats on the back Impact is getting from the "no fans at all until covid is done" crowd are worth it. The difference in presentation between this and AEW is just staggering.

If she is injured, why don't they just say so Tho apparently she wrestled two weeks ago and then took herself out of an event the next day I believe she was scheduled for

It was the most interesting thing on this show and the match most people were invested in and Impact knew this so they let people spend their hard earned money and did a bait & switch. It really doesn't sit well with me.

They have had some test from people in the company that has effected the show, yes Joey Janela was off this week show due to wrestling at an independent show with someone who tested positive. Lance Archer had his title match pushed back due to a positive It isn't at the tapings but they have had stuff happen Impact has had none whether inside or outside influenced which is nothing short of a stroke of luck but also good planning on their part and I support them having no crowd to keep their shit moving as safely as possible.

I get waiting until the last min but running a video knowing she is out is def a tough bait and switch that fans will not be happy about

No wrestler infected because they chose to participate in an AEW event. No indication that I am aware of that a fan has been infected for having attended their event. Whether it's wise for AEW to continue to let talent appear at indie events is highly debatable, but I think they've shown pretty conclusively their system works, and the difference in the quality of the presentation is undeniable.

The Kylie incident is a very odd one all round. If she is injured or ill you would expect them to have acknowledged that at some point, but there's been radio silence. If it was a last minute switch on the fly for whatever reason then you would expect it to be someone who was ready to go rather than someone who hasn't done their gimmick for months and therefore presumably wouldn't have had their gear ready to go. And lastly, if this wasn't the plan all along it's an odd choice for the last minute replacement to go over when you've spent so long building the champion and her challenger, especially as there's no behind the scenes reasoning to do so with Deonna's new long term deal.
Based on this I can only assume that it's a storyline but if so, the commentary team did an awful job of it by just brushing over the fact that Kylie wasn't there and moving on quickly.

It does seem very odd. Hope she's ok.

[br They have more money and their own outdoor stadium to film in (less transmission in an outdoor environment).

Eh, should be said that Impact isn’t exactly own by a Mom and Pop TV company or anything like that.
That’s not to say they can afford to throw money at Impact for no reason whatsoever but it’s not like they brought AXS TV from raising funds for a bake sale.

They won't put a ton of money into filming outdoors in a huge arena with fans, when they can do it inside in a small arena and control potential infection that way. I just don't see why them filming inside without fans during a pandemic is somehow a bad thing.

Just pointing out the discussion about production quality not being as simple as “Well, one’s owned by a billionaire, of course it’s better” when they both are practically.
