from a football perspective I believe if not for all this stuff surrounding Watson, he would've been traded by now I think No he wouldn't. Texans are run by f***ing charlatans and would have insisted he stay their starter.

I don't think Watson's lawyer realizes that having 18 more women come forward with claims of Watson being a gentleman isn't the slam dunk defense he thinks it is. At the very least, it paints a picture of Watson having some sort of sexual addiction related to massages. Otherwise, he could've just used the Texans' in-house masseuse.
Only thing that helps Watson in all this is that the lawyer on the other side is acting like a complete clown.

Dan Snyder is buying out the minority owners of WFT.
Great.
On the bright side, if and when he's finally forced to sell, it will only involve one person.

And now Dean Spanos is being sued by sister over the Chargers ownership.
Not an April Fool's joke, either.

Snyder is the second worst owner in sports (behind only James Dolan of the Knicks). I’m still pissed at how he handled Marty in 2001 and hired Spurrier, who sucked ass as a NFL coach.

Seems like a smart ask to me, he did lead San Francisco to a Super Bowl

Lol, if a team wants to believe it was Jimmy instead of an elite defense and ground game, BY ALL MEANS give us a first.
((No one will give up a first, even in a QB needy market))

Seems like a smart ask to me, he did lead San Francisco to a Super Bowl My theory, in the spirit of "you really only need 1 team to say yes", they're hoping the Patriots will be that team, since they've been loading up like crazy this offseason, as well as their tendency to use high picks as trade pieces rather than actually use the picks to, you know, pick.

I still say the smart move for the 9ers is if no one gives them a 1st take a qb of the future red shirt him and let Jimmy G start and see if you can't get his trade stock back up. If not then you cut ties at the end of the season for minimum cap damage

If not then you cut ties at the end of the season for minimum cap damage I think from the reporting I saw, that's basically the plan. The reporter whose tweet was posted above said they'd part with him if they are offered a 1st otherwise they'll look the rehabilitate his value for a year and let whoever they draft learn the system as the backup.

Jimmy’s going to get replaced by the bye week. Without the elite 2019 defense he’s going to be forced to actually make plays and will faceplant.
That is if he doesn’t get hurt first.

Seems like a smart ask to me, he did lead San Francisco to a Super Bowl I wouldn't necessarily say he led a team to the Super Bowl as much as he happened to be the quarterback of a team that advanced to the Super Bowl. I mean, he threw eight passes in the NFC Championship Game, he wasn't exactly the centerpiece of that franchise. His contract is already too rich for my blood, so he'd need to restructure the deal to become a Patriot, but the ask of a first-round pick is a non-starter. If the 49ers want a second-round pick, or a package of a third- and fourth-round pick, then I'm making the deal. But a first, especially considering this is the highest the Patriots have been slated to draft since the 2001 NFL Draft, is entirely too high of an asking price for a quarterback who underwhelmed in 2020 and has only played in 31 of 53 games because of a documented injury history.

Plus there’s the whole he’s not good and doesn’t have any ability to stretch the field thing. Imagine him without YAC monsters like Kittle and Deebo.
I take a second and drive the man to the airport for it. Lol
