San Fran made that big trade to take a QB They not trading down a few picks I know they did.. I think anybody this de the top two is a major risk. Pitts could be like Calvin Johnson Pitts is going to be a dawg but luckily for teams behind San Fran, they can wait him out Imo you build the team and worry about the QB but teams want the QB now and work it around him since if you don't have a QB, you don't have shit My worry with San Fran is whoever they draft for QB, is going to be rushed out there and if/when they f** up as a rookie than the fanbase will be vicious

As long as Jimmy stays healthy or doesn’t shit the bed... so I give it until the bye week.

Pitts could be like Calvin Johnson I've seen the Calvin comp and it's ambitious to put it lightly. Waller came out of GT, in an actual TE now, and is 6'6 and ran a mid-4.4s. But did it at the Combine and not a Pro Day. But he's a Pro Bowl TE. Calvin is in a class almost by himself. His production in a program with one of the worst passing game's in the nation was almost twice what Pitts' was in the #1 passing offense in the nation. Calvin is the best WR prospect since Fitz and you could probably make an argument that he was better from a pure tools standpoint. Pitts is not that. His game compares to Waller's, his tools are up there with VD or Kellen Winslow. Elite measurables for a TE, but not Calvin and not really all that close. The Niners have weapons. The Niners' problem is that they have no one to utilize all of those weapons. They have a Pro Bowl TE. They have Aiyuk and Deebo. They have a good line and Mostert is going to put up numbers. They're not a Kyle Pitts away from Super Bowl contention, they're 'anybody but Jimmy G' away from contention. They made an aggressive move up to get their QB, only to move down to take a player at a position that they already have an elite player at, while wasting assets to do so. Honestly, that would be dumber than drafting Mac Jones and I think Mac Jones is going to be Chad Pennington, or worse. That's a Draft Day style move, and that is honestly one of the worst sports movies I can recall seeing.

Seattle signed human piece of shit Aldon Smith and lost any moral high ground the team had.

I know, I’m just using it as a comp, he has the size and playmaking ability to absolutely be an All Pro for years. He’s as good a TE prospect as Lawrence is a QB prospect. But San Fran moved up to get a QB like everybody said. I’m thinking it’s Fields and the Max Jones talk is just noise

The charges against Donald are now gone as the attorney for the victim says his client mistook him for the attacker and apologizes for the mistake.
I wish more people would do that when evidence show something different happening.

Bill Belichick's birthday today yesterday. Hard to believe he's only 69.

Trey Lance’s second pro day is tomorrow. So I fully expect him to jump to the top of the Niners online fanbase wishlist if he kills it.
(He’s my #2. Fields 1. Anyone except Mac is 3)

But Wentz had NFL success before he blew his knee, so it’s not unprecedented for players to succeed from the program.

San Fran is taking Fields unless the Jets get stupid and dont take Wilson, which I mean, is possible.

A little surprised Alex retired as he could still play and continued on even as a backup for a little while longer but he is going out on his terms
The man went from a bust to having a damn good career

Reports saying Robert Saleh wants Richard Sherman Jets will make that determination after the draft to see how they filled their need at CB and on Sherman part he wants to stay on the West and play for a Superbowl contender but i'm guessing if Jets pay him enough he will make the move at least for a season

Such an incredible story, I wish it could have gone on longer, but with the leg hurting again it’s probably for the best.

Good for Alex Smith he could have definitely hung around as a backup/Fitzpatrick type QB but decided he has nothing left to prove, he came back from what should have been a career ending injury, showed he could still play.
Alex Smith is living breathing testimony that some busts aren't actually busts but good players who were let down by lack of quality teammates, bad coaching and bad organizational choices, I think it's something that younger fans may not even realize that Smith was the 1st overall and for years was considered a bust. I know the new trend right now seems to be move off as quickly as possible if the QB isn't working out (Rosen, Darnold, Wentz, Mitch, etc) but maybe teams should remember Alex Smith and take a good long, introspective soul searching and figure out if they really are bad players or if you let them down
