WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, ROH and AEW all worked with the NWA since 1990. Its funny how no matter how far things fall for them they get themselves in there

I mean...i'm cool with it when it results in things like Thunder Rosa adding fire to a division that needed it.

I mean...i'm cool with it when it results in things like Thunder Rosa adding fire to a division that needed it. Pretty much. Like, this isn’t like Jim Cornette’s “Bringing tradition back” rants leading to a bumble of nothing, they’re helping to actually make someone like credible and in turn make the belt and the NWA look credible. It’s literally the best use of NWA branding since, what, 1980s WCW?

Hey, at least the NWA is looking good out of this for once.
Do you want it where the NWA were depicted as a bunch of has-been goobers like in 1998 that couldn't even beat the opening card geeks of the WWF?

Whatever it takes to get NWA gals into AEW's roster, do it.

Eh. Thunder Rosa is awesome. Hikaru Shida is awesome. The two had a great match at All Out.
The NWA belt is just a prop that's there to add some shine to Thunder Rosa, and give Shida something else to chase. They've not made Rosa look like a loser, and with the pandemic essentially gutting the Joshi part of the women's division, they need all hands on deck.

I seriously doubt we'll ever see most of the Japanese women again. I mean...why? Tony Khan has to pay transportation to bring them in and I fail to see what money they bring in to justify it. At least with Shida she moves to the States.
There's other NWA talent that could do something with AEW. I would absolutely want to bring Aldis in for some sort of Cody rubber match. James Storm could do something with Hangman. Eli Drake can run his mouth with the best of them.

I've said this probably way too many times, but it needs to be said 'til it happens: Bring In Kamille #AEW #NWA

I can see then cutting back slightly but I doubt Yuka wont return for example.

As long as Aldis stays away, we're good.
(And I really like Nick Aldis, but he's not suited to AEW at all.)

I dunno why, but I feel Corgan and Khan are gonna work some form of merger out, so the new stars can be on dynamite, and the dark workers can be featured on powerrr giving both sides love

Its funny how no matter how far things fall for them they get themselves in there To be fair ECW and WCW where rebranding of a part of the NWA, and TNA started as a NWA brand Remember it debuted as NWA TNA, they didn't bring them in. Nothing wrong with AEW doing when because it got them Thunder Rosa who given the Womens divison a much needed boast in quality matches.

Really this is just a very particular circumstance where NWA needs all the promotion they can get with everything in flux and AEW needs all the help it can get with its women's division. I doubt it'll extend much further than what they're doing now.

At least with Shida she moves to the States. What? They are better than every woman they have AND they are more over than every other woman they have. The crowd reactions Riho and Shida were getting were crazy.

I didn't include Shida in this. She moved to the States and is their current champ. The point is for 1 segment of Dynamite a week they can just put whatever women on there to have an 8 minute match and it'll likely do the same quarter hour rating as it would if they flew in Japanese women. So just save the expense.

Its funny how no matter how far things fall for them they get themselves in there To be fair, 4 of those 6 promotions started as members of the NWA. In fact outside of a few Indys, damn near everyone has worked with the NWA. From Deathmatch Insanity like IWA Japan to Rasslin as it used to be & as you liked it, Smoky Mountain Wrestling.
