Inspired by the other fun Survivor Series threads that have been popping up lately.
Who are some of the worst Survivor Series partners? There are the obvious ones like Bad News Brown, but what about someone like Hacksaw Jim Duggan? He gets counted out in 1987. He gets himself disqualified in 1988 leaving Jake Roberts alone against four other guys including Andre the Giant. Then he gets disqualified AGAIN in 1990 and squanders his teams advantage. He even acts shocked when it happens. You should know by now you can't hit people with the 2x4!! You would have to be a fool to try and recruit Jim Duggan for your Survivor Series team.
Also, why would anyone pick the Bushwhackers? They don't seem to follow directions very well and then they get eliminated with ease. May as well start the match down two.

Ken Patera eliminated no one in his two Survivor Series appearances, was the first man eliminated from his team both times, and in fact his final WWF moment was getting pinned by Rick Rude at the 1988 event.

Danny Davis is in this conversation. And Colonel Mustafa in 1991. He was the captain and the first one eliminated. Way to lead your team, man!
Also the British Bulldogs. In the 1987 Coliseum Video edition, they just disappear without being eliminated!

John Cena, because The Authority will make it so that if you lose you're fired and if you win they have to leave, but even if you win, Cena will overturn that stipulation to save a guy he didn't like 5 years ago, and then The Authority will fire you anyway.

Big Show. Motherf***er couldn't even wait until the end of the match to turn on his team.
Jericho in 2001. He damn near put WWF out of business just because he had beef with The Rock.

Big Show. Motherf***er couldn't even wait until the end of the match to turn on his team. Jericho in 2001. He damn near put WWF out of business just because he had beef with The Rock. Oh my God. I totally forgot about this from Jericho. Bare in mind when this angle was ongoing, I was 13, and while I was never a mark, I was damn invested. For me, I was always confused why WCW had no big name stars and why didn't put Jericho over there given he'd been in WCW before and they needed talent. And then he did the one thing I'd wanted him to do the whole angle in the final match, which was so impossibly stupid, 'I'm gonna get The Rock pinned so then I won't have a job hah ahahah aha haaaaaaa' what a heel. God and then Flair shows up the next night, f***ing hell, Vince should have just aired slow motion footage of money being burned for the back half of 2001.

I'd have to say Tully Blanchard. Dude walks out before his match forcing Bobby Heenan to take his place.
Also have to nominate Andre The Giant. Guy spent 90 of his matches standing on the apron. In his three matches I don't think gets a total of 10 minutes.

Doink. Sends 4 ringers in his place in 1993 and then in 1994, gets eliminated, leaving his partners to now a wrestle a match they have no possible way of winning, since Lawler couldn’t compete against the little fellas.

Bad News Brown. Walked out on his teams 2 years in a row.
Big Show. Beat up his entire team in 1999 because he wanted to fight 4 men by himself, got eliminated by Shane f***ing McMahon in 2001, and turned on Cena's team in 2014.
Triple H. Lets Kurt Angle get eliminated by Shane in 2017 just so he can make the pin.
Shawn Michaels. Stays out of much of the match in 1994, insists that Diesel tags him in so that he can eliminated Razor Ramon after he lost all his teammates, ends up hitting Diesel with the Sweet Chin Music, and causes a huge argument between the two that gets him, Diesel, AND their teammates all counted out, which hands the match to Razor. Because of his ego, his team went from nearly making a clean sweep to being the only team to blow a 5-to-1 lead.

Mr. Perfect. He’s such a perfect partner, that he tag out, before the match even starts.
1993.

It was also the only time he managed a pinfall on someone who was worth a damn in his WWF career. By 1990, however... he was absolutely useless, and that says a lot given he was Boris Zhukov. He was eliminated by Tito Santana, of all people.

Shawn was definitely a horrible partner in 1994, but I would argue that over his total body of work, Shawn Michaels might be one of the best partners. In his Rockers days, he fought his heart out every time and was typically the most valuable non-captain on the team. In 1993, he takes up Jerry Lawler’s cause against the Harts and led his three worthless knights and only threw in the towel after he was outnumbered 3-1. 2003 might be the single most selfless performance in Survivor Series - he damn near kills himself to try and save Steve Austin’s job.

Jericho in 2001. He damn near put WWF out of business just because he had beef with The Rock. Not as bad as Kurt Angle, who put the WCW/ECW Alliance out of business by turning on them in the final moments of the match. And make no mistake, this was no charitable act. He just wormed his way into being able to choose which side he was the triumphant hero of.
