Do WWE/NXT have its own people who build rings or do they use independent contractors for that?
And I mean actual outside independent contractors, not the carny loophole to exploit their talent.

Gee Hunner, has having a brush with the virus and need to quarantine been eye opening for you?
"Y'see-uh, the thing is-uh-"
Nope.

If people aren't following protocol at work, it makes me question how enforced protocol is and if there shouldn't be someone there to oversee that people have masks on. Which has also been a primary concern the whole time; WWE has been so lax about this that it's fostered an entire year of people thinking this is cool and not being careful, so this sort of sloppy shit becomes a habit that's hard to break, and which people don't think they'll actually be punished for. They should have been hardasses from the start, and now the company is reaping what they've sowed, which unfortunately means letting peoples' lives get caught in the crossfire. People are sick who have done their parts and should not be punished or put in danger because of this, but here we are.

Trusting Brian James to run the show...sounds smart... A man known for his strict adherence to COVID guidelines - the ideal guy to run a show during a localised outbreak

Basically, I see it like this; You don't really get to take the praise of doing something about a forest fire when you spent some of the time continually spraying petrol onto said fire along with, apparently, every other dumb goober in the area who has access to flammable items. I really hope HHH doesn't have COVID, nobody "deserves" it at all, but after his two weeks, it would be nice if the COVID policies down there don't begin and end with "scolding people on a group Zoom chat".

So let me get this straight; A bunch of people were working with the ring without masks and not following restrictions and as a result, a bunch of people were sent home to quarantine that may or may not have COVID and it resulted in changing the entire card for that weekâs NXT... ...yet you let two people travelling from the UK into a state with no two week quarantine and into a venue that has just had said outbreak. And theyâll potentially after WM weekend have to go back to a country that, as of right now, has airport checks that can be defined as ânon-existentâ. Fantastic. Depends how long ago the vignette Devlin filmed as to whether he and WALTER quarantined regardless of state laws considering both were featured on last nightâs NXTUK which was taped weeks ago

From what I hear, the NXT UK Covid bubble is more akin to what ROH is doing with theirs. Even if we're talking about Devlin going back to Ireland, we still don't have mandatory quarantines so either way, I can only suspect WWE had them fly in and do the shows as soon as they could rather than after two weeks.

I think under CDC guidelines, quarantine can usually be less than two weeks if you get tested within a few days of arriving I believe. Though not sure the wrestling companies are following anything like that (didnât Maki Itoh fight one day in Japan and the next day was on AEW PPV?).

But then there havenât been any outbreaks at AEW events so, unless one happened during the last set of tapings, thereâs less concern for me on that front even though Iâd rather that had not happened at all.

Finn and Kross are clean by the look of it Just a hunch that Finn isn't one of the people that thinks the virus is fake and nothing to worry about. The man won't even eat a carb, of course he's gonna take COVID seriously. Kross, on the other hand...

Guess this explains her absence Wish her the best. Would also explain why she was off the âMania posters because theyâd have no time to book her in anything with the two week quarantine.

I don't get to see my dream of Charlotte tapping out Asuka while the forum melts down?

I asked a few pages ago about Triple H, and I do not think he is getting enough criticism in some ways. Make no mistake Vince has made some dumb decisions at best and sleezy decisions at worst in the last year but most of WWE's issues fall under NXT

The fact that NXT has a couple of COVID deniers in Wuertz and Road Dogg and Trips or anyone in charge of NXT isn't doing anything about it is proof that nobody wants to fix things.

The buck stops with him. And no, ânot booking them for Survivor Series or involving them with storylinesâ does not count for that.

Vince owns NXT, regardless of who is in charge of its day-to-day, and anything that happens in there, he's ultimately liable for. It's easy to get caught up in the 'promotion' side of things, but this isn't about booking shows or pushing stars. If Vince cared about running a tight ship and people not getting sick, he would have come down on NXT and Triple H wouldn't have a choice here.
